My wife and I have been lucky enough, over many years, to stay at some wonderful hotels, apartments and guest houses around the world. We have had many wonderful experiences, but Villa Roquette is 'at the top of the tree.' The welcome from Tony and Carole makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive till the day you... More

We booked six weeks ahead, with written confirmation of full payment and have also been in touch by email with the owner, Carol T. She confirmed everything and we informed her of a late arrival at the time of booking. We arrived at Montpellier airport after travelling 16 hours from Singapore at 11pm, with our 7 year old son. Out... More

Roquette, Owner at Villa Roquette, responded to this review

This is a very sad story. I responded to an enquiry made thru' TripAdvisor with a quote and friendly message. I then heard nothing more from either TripAdvisor or this lady. The confirmation was made to her by TripAdvisor, in my name apparently but not with my knowledge. Money was paid to TripAdvisor, not to me. I had no further... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the charming Villa Roquette, a laidback B&B located in sleepy little town near Beziers. Rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated with adequate facilities. Breakfast was provided at a time to suit and consisted of fresh croissants, bread and fruit. The garden provided a relaxing area with a small pool for cooling down during hot... More

This place was filthy and doesn't even rate one star. Unfriendly welcome by Tony. Very disappointed to have booked and lost money but unable to stay because it was disgusting. Junk throughput the garden and you wouldn't want to eat there as the kitchen was a pigsty.

Carole and Tony are simply put, Angels! We found ourselves stuck on our train to Arles by the terrible flooding that effected the area in September 2014. We were informed that the train could not continue and would in all likely hood return to Perpignan. We frantically started calling from our stranded train in Agde trying to find accommodation. It... I had the good fortune of spending a few comfortable days at Villa Roquette B & B in the small Herault town of Montblanc, a few miles from Pezenas, and close to Agde as well. Best thing about Villa Roquette is its management, Carol and Tony, who have been in the area for more than 20 years and have owned... More

Carole and Tony were great from the go get. Stayed here for 3 nights in May and explored the towns and villages from Quillan to Carcassone and from Cap d'Agde to St Chinian looking for possible places to relocate to. Carole and Tony's advice was invaluable and continues to be so since arriving home in Australia. Only 15 mins out... More

Like previous reviewers, we found Carole and Tony to be warm and helpful hosts- even arranging for a doctor for a sick member of our party. The information and descriptions on the website are factually accurate: specifically the sunny corner apartment and adjoining room was ideal for two adult couples who cooked, dined, socialized, and played cards. Montblanc is a... More

We wanted to travel in the Languedoc - Roussillon region in France but wanted to find a base to call home. We found Villa Rouquette and for two weeks we called it home as it is perfectly located for our day trips round the countryside. We stayed in the rose apartment and it was perfect for us. Tony and Carole... More

We cannot speak highly enough of the generous help and warm welcome we received from Carole and Tony during our 5 night stay in May. We felt more like friends than visitors and were treated as such. This made all the difference. Our accommodation was very comfortable and spacious and well-appointed. It was a great introduction to this part of... More
