a Maggiorina is a detached house in Italian style, located in the center of Agliano Terme. It consists of four newly renovated independent bright apartments with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and balcony and/or terrace. The kitchen in each apartment is equipped for “self service/self made” cooking. If you prefer not to be the chef, we can recommend pastries, bars etc. just outside our property. A few steps away you will also find small shops offering necessities and amenities, or bigger shops 3-10 kilometers away. Restaurants in the village and nearby. We have bicycles for rent; off road, racer or electric.

This is our second trip to La Maggiorina. Last year we were here for 7 days and wanted 10 days this year. Here is everything you need to have a nice holiday. The hostess Jan and Anja are incredibly helpful in booking wine tasting and tables for restaurants. Always great tips on places to visit, tours on bicycle or on your feet. The apartment has everything you need, good beds, fully equipped kitchen and at Pina where we stayed there are 2 rooftop terraces with an incredible view from the one. Short distances to several major cities. Car, bus, bike or on foot. We chose to walk a lot, there are many nice hiking options and not so far to go to other small villages. A few restaurants that are cosy and charming in their own way. It is a quiet little village, while there is also a lot of things happening in. We don't miss anything here, because if you want to experience a little more or go shopping, it's not far away. Here you can find peace and gather energy. We have already set ourselves for new weeks next year. Recommended on the warmest.

We had a really nice holiday in the small nice town, which has everything you need. The apartment and the whole house were so nice - clean and exactly the authentic Italian style and atmosphere that we love. At the same time, there was a super welcoming host in Jan, who offered help with everything such as wine tasting, truffle hunting and bike rental etc. Our very best recommendation from here. Just spent a week in Agliano Terme. Left with a really good feeling for the place, the people and a great stay with Jan and Anja at La Maggiorina. We stayed at Pina, the top apartment which has a fantastic view. We give top marks for everything there, clean, good beds, well-equipped kitchen and a bar in the basement where you had all the drinks available. It is a quiet and rural place, where you can really relax and enjoy your holiday. At the same time, there are short distances to larger cities, if you want to experience something different. Jan is always on offer, helps with booking tables, wine tastings and whatever you need help with. We highly recommend this place and have already booked for next year's holiday.

La Maggiorina in Agliano Terme is a great place to stay in the Monferrato area of Piedmont. The owners will give you helpful tips on where to go, whether it is in or just around the village of Agliano, or by bike / car to towns and areas that are within easy reach. The beds are comfortable, the Wifi is free and works well, the views are great, the flats have fully equipped kitchens, and there is a garden for communal use. What more can you ask for?

We were 4 girlfriends (50+) who stayed at the La Maggiorina in Agliano Terme, for 4 nights. What a fantastic town and area, and what an excellent place to stay in the middle of the heart of Piemonte! You have all the picturesque and famous wine towns and vineyards surrounding you and you can easily reach them all by bike or short car rides. The view from all rooms and terraces is beautiful and the apartments are spacious, airy and have all the amenities you need.
The couple running the hotel are the sweetest and will tell you about the area and what to do and where to go.
We visited the beautiful town of Orta San Giulio by the lake Orta (Lago Orta) on the way down from the airport to the hotel – absolutely a well worth it detour!
Make sure to visit a local winery for wine tasting (there are wineries in walking distance from the hotel) and also try truffle hunting (just a bike ride away).
Highly recommended place and hotel!

Great place. A family of three had Pina on top. Amazing view, clean and nice and delicious. Agliano is a quiet city, but we had to experience street party, wine tasting, dinner in the vineyards, Market in Asti, pool, electric cycling and not least the company of Jan and Anja. It was warm and good, so the basement is absolutely super at the afternoon with what you want of drinks. Jan picked up and ran and things went so smooth. And they don't know what good they can do for you to have a great stay. Mother, father, and 16-year-old daughter are guaranteed to be back.

This is the perfect place to stay in the charming and authentic village of Agliano Terme. The apartments, set in the beautiful old building, are large, modern and very clean. Comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen, terraces with magnificent views. The hosts are so friendly, and give you all the relevant info about wine tastings, nice bike trails, local restaurants and bars, etc. We are definitely going back!

We were 4 couples who had 7 wonderful days at La Maggiorina during the Barbera Fish Festival. Agliano Terme was
a cosy and quiet little village. Superb and nice apartments. Fantastic service from Jan (owner) who was the driver for us and arranged everything was to fix. We'd love to come back.

Fantastic place, view and owners! We stayed there for 3 days, should have stayed longer. Thank you so much Anja and Jan. Sight seeing, wine tasting, coil down in the camping skimming pool, and good food in the lokal restaurants.

Fantastic place! Great apartments in the picturesque village Agliano Terme. The view can’t be described, it has to be experienced. Hosts Anja and Jan are really pleasant and helpful, always ready to give useful tips about trips, hiking and wine tasting.
Guest bikes available. Honesty bar on ground floor. I would recommend one of the locally produced wines from Poderi Rosso Giovanni.
Will definitely return here.

"Stairs are a little steep so if one is infirm, a lower room would be better. However, you won't get the wonderful view."
