a Maggiorina is a detached house in Italian style, located in the center of Agliano Terme. It consists of four newly renovated independent bright apartments with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and balcony and/or terrace. The kitchen in each apartment is equipped for “self service/self made” cooking. If you prefer not to be the chef, we can recommend pastries, bars etc. just outside our property. A few steps away you will also find small shops offering necessities and amenities, or bigger shops 3-10 kilometers away. Restaurants in the village and nearby. We have bicycles for rent; off road, racer or electric.

We were 4 girlfriends (50+) who stayed at the La Maggiorina in Agliano Terme, for 4 nights. What a fantastic town and area, and what an excellent place to stay in the middle of the heart of Piemonte! You have all the picturesque and famous wine towns and vineyards surrounding you and you can easily reach them all by bike or short car rides. The view from all rooms and terraces is beautiful and the apartments are spacious, airy and have all the amenities you need. The couple running the hotel are the sweetest and will tell you about the area and what to do and where to go. We visited the beautiful town of Orta San Giulio by the lake Orta (Lago Orta) on the way down from the airport to the hotel – absolutely a well worth it detour! Make sure to visit a local winery for wine tasting (there are wineries in walking distance from the hotel) and also try truffle hunting (just a bike ride away). Highly recommended place and hotel!

This is the perfect place to stay in the charming and authentic village of Agliano Terme. The apartments, set in the beautiful old building, are large, modern and very clean. Comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen, terraces with magnificent views. The hosts are so friendly, and give you all the relevant info about wine tastings, nice bike trails, local restaurants and bars, etc. We are definitely going back!

La Maggiorina in Agliano Terme is a great place to stay in the Monferrato area of Piedmont. The owners will give you helpful tips on where to go, whether it is in or just around the village of Agliano, or by bike / car to towns and areas that are within easy reach. The beds are comfortable, the Wifi is free and works well, the views are great, the flats have fully equipped kitchens, and there is a garden for communal use. What more can you ask for?

Fantastic place! Great apartments in the picturesque village Agliano Terme. The view can’t be described, it has to be experienced. Hosts Anja and Jan are really pleasant and helpful, always ready to give useful tips about trips, hiking and wine tasting. Guest bikes available. Honesty bar on ground floor. I would recommend one of the locally produced wines from Poderi Rosso Giovanni. Will definitely return here.

Would highly recommend a stay here. Excellent location in village centre. Views from the rooms are simply stunning. Our hosts looked after us from start to finish. The accomodation was clean, light and roomy. There was an honesty bar on the groung floor. Their local knowledge really helped. They made our stay just that little bit more special. Thank you. We will definitely return.

We stayed 5 nights at this amazing place together with other couples and kids from the age of 10 to 14 years. Our apartment was "Pina" at the top floor, with two lovely terraces and a spectacular view. Very comfortable bed, quiet at night, nice and clean bathroom. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge. There is bakery and supermarkets nearby. They have a pool at the ground floor in the garden area, big enough for the kids to swim and play. The owners are extremely serviceminded, they have a big new car with 9 seats which you can hire with driver for an affordable price. They provide bikes for rent and Jan (the owner) is an experienced biker that can be your guide if you want. It is several other things to do, we had a great day with wine tasting at the Filippa Azienda Agricola just 10 minutes walk from the apartment and a very nice meal at the Osteria La Milonga, also in walking distance. We went to Asti and Torino, two charming and interesting cities both for culture, food and shopping. Jan was driving us to Asti and we went by train to Torino, easy and cheap. It is also possible to walk (a beautiful walk through wineyards and sunflowers) to a pool at Camping Le Fonti, perfect for kids. The temperature was up to 36 degrees so nice for grown ups as well:-) Thanks for an unforgettable stay, we will be back!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Quiet, clean, inviting. Anja and Jan did everything possible to make our stay pleasant and made sure we were well taken care of. Accommodations spacious and meticulously clean, grounds were breathtaking. Pool was well maintained and a nice way to end a very tiring and hot day! The nice added touch at La Maggiorina is the honesty bar and laundry room. We enjoyed our stay for 5 nights and look forward to going back!
