Come and visit us at Zagroda Kuwasy - the friendly country house (not a soulless hotel) where a warm welcome and magical surroundings await all visitors. Experience the perfect silence of starry nights, the lush, green and leafy spaces stretching endlessly in all directions and the magic of mist descending on the meadows at the end of the day. Enjoy roaming the area armed with your binoculars and camera, listen to the sounds of birds singing in the trees and the comforting chatter of frogs in ponds, rivers and lakes. The winters offer another world that can be explored on skis and later there is the warmth of roaring open fire, enhancing the feeling of cosy wellbeing while dark and frosty nights envelope the world outside. For animal lovers there are horses, dogs and other creatures that provide more experiences and everybody will love our home cooking, delicious black cherry jam, produced on site, the locally sourced honey and our own superb sausages and other meat delicacies.

We had a wonderful stay at Zagroda Kuwasy as we explored Biebza National Park. It is ideally located to explore the park, particularly the northern and middle sections. The grounds are lovely to stroll around or just sit and relax. The rooms are simple, but spacious and clean and very comfortable. The food is again, simple but includes a wide variety of dishes (many Polish staples) and all of them most enjoyable. We particularly liked the breakfasts that included some of the best muesli and jams we have ever had. The staff are warm and extremely helpful (the connected us with a wonderful guide who gave us a spectacular tour of the park). We would love to return and stay longer.

Well , we are grandparents who took 3 grandchildren (6-9-12 y/old) for one week vacation there. To start with I faced family disbelief when I told them that the main reason I have chosen this place is not only an unspoiled nature but above all the "digital dettox" as there are no TV nor WiFi in rooms . Therefore , no smartphones or tablets for children. However , there is a connection with the world there as WiFi is operational in the reception area as well as mobile signal is OK. Children LOVED IT - they have not complained even once about lack of W-Fi but concentrated on being together , playing togethher and above all - were overwhelmed with activities available there. At Kuwasy you have playing fields , horse riding , kayaking , bike riding, hut on the raft on the very slow river, log fire by the evening and even balooning if you are happy to pay for it (they can organise a special , smaller children baloon). Then comes food ! UNBELIEVABLE that they can prepare every day such amazing food for so many people. There was always a choice of vegetarian & carnivores meals and majority of food was made on site from local fresh produce .Even the bread is being fresh baked there every day. This place is on the border of Biebrza National Park , so you are staying in a place of natural beauty and with freshest air available. I highly recommend this place for reasons stated above as well as I must admit I've never seen my grandchildren happier after vacation ! Mr Gregory Zolynski

I went to Kuwasy for a 7-days yoga treatment. And I was happy, relaxed, my mind was peaceful. The rooms are spacious, although you may not like the sound of wooden floor coming from the rooms upstairs (so better ask for such room so you can make the noise for others). A lot of space outside with animals (horses, goats etc.). You may take riding classes. There are many outdoor possibilities (e.g. walks, kayaking). The area is quiet and just pure nature. Not really recommended if you need to work during your stay as the coverage and wi-fi are rather poor. But... maybe I shouldn't be writing this... and you would go with an aim of working, but all you would have left is pure relaxation :)) Oh, and the food!!! I couldn't stop eating... :D

I keep returning to this place for 12 years, and there still this cozy atmosphere that makes me feel like home... if You like nature and rustic climates - that's probably the place for You. Also, knowing the owners I am really surprised by the negative eval that appeared on TripAdvisor recently; well - I have seen lots of places worldwide but hearing complains from somebody trying to disturb others with noisy mobile is an absurd. Dear Kuwasy team - don't worry, this type of guests is not Your target anyway, it demands a bit of self-reflection to visit places like Yours ;)

as I was writing in my previous review, 2 yrs ago - this is the place I know for years and keep returning to - for peaceful stays (although, please check this point before any extended weekend;), good contact with nature and simple, homemade and excellent food. All in all, in my view of world this is the place quite close to "relaxing heaven" - and not too far from Warsaw, too ;) ps a good point is, the mobile connection is poor so guests needs to go for "digital detox" here ;)))

With no tv or wifi in rooms, I was forced to relax. I cannot recommended this place enough. It really is so quiet, so peaceful, surprisingly delicious food, comfortable beds, and a very friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and relax and unplug for a bit. The air here is truly wonderful.

It is a bit hard for me to write a review of this place, as I know it for almost 10 years and it's a bit like reviewing home. However, after many visits and especially, after my last stay in Oct, I want to share this place with other guests. It is a great place, with very hospitable crew and a wonderful place for anybody seeking for close contact with nature, a true hideaway from city and daily rush. Very good location (on the outskirts on National Park) gives You good opportunity to enjoy the uniqueness of the location (unregulated river, forest, swamps...) and catch a good breather of FRESH air (I wish I could have a few cans of that in the city...). There is selection of 1-, 2- and bigger rooms, a nice restaurant with selection of beer and wine... and very kind and helpful staff, helping guests as much as possible. For me, this is (still, over & over) truly unique experience, being able to relax, escape from daily rush, and get a good grip with nature and Yourself. if You haven't visited it, yet - it is worth a trip, for sure. I've been here several times, and I am looking forward for next visits to this city-getaway, for sure. ps. if You need to use internet connection or mobile, please bear in mind this place has weak connection, both for mobiles as well as internet

About a three hour drive from Warsaw next to the Biebrze national park. Location is fantastic for an entry to the park whether to cycle or canoe. Apart from that it is strictly middle of nowhere - so beware - they do minimal limited lunches and not much else in the vicinity. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great when we were there so we were more in residence than we planned. It's ok ... And really would be fine if you left after breakfast and came back tired in the evening. People friendly and helpful - a bit pricey for what you get - but they don't really have much competition.

We stayed here for two nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. The hotel is outside the village of Woznawies, on the edge of Biebrza National Park. It is situated almost in a clearing of the forest and it is a short walk into this beautiful primeval landscape. The rooms are of a rustic design, with pine floors and walls, furniture and beds. Ours was a very comfortable twin room with a balcony overlooking the edge of the forest. The bathroom facilities were good, but, for some, not us, the lack of a television and tea/coffee-making facilities may be a problem. The food was excellent. The chef-owner, Dariusz Wojcik, produced a series of lovely dishes, with great variety and interesting combinations. I would also pick out the wonderful homemade breads we had at breakfast as something special. Perhaps, in retrospect, two days there was enough, otherwise one's waistline would expand even more! This hotel is highly recommended.
