It was very good experience, service good, very halpful staff, good restaurant. The hotel is located in the old part of the city where you can have the opportunity to go out at dinners but also different shops near where you can make shoping , a nice place for a different weekend.
Thank Jeti

As part of a tour, we were booked into this hotel and knew nothing about it before that.
First impressions are always important, and the reception was terrific both visually and in how the staff helped us settle in. We couldn't miss a funky, tiny glass-walled lift right in the middle of all that.

The hotel is decorated well, and the room was as appealing and "comforting" (after a long day on the road) as any room could be. Not only did Wi-Fi and the refrigerator work well, unusually for our extended trip through several Balkan countries the TV actually had international cable channels (including news) that were hooked up too. That may seem like a small thing but after several days of only having local channels, it was a nice surprise.

The hotel's location just off the main al fresco bar/coffee shop/restaurant street was definitely a plus, not to mention having a souvenir shop (the only one we saw in our short time there) across the street. Also, it's easy to walk about 15 minutes in the other direction to an impressive Fresh Store hypermarket, where we loaded up on the best souvenirs of all: locally produced food.

Where we did not go, only because we didn't know about it, was the "real" part of Gjakova, walkable from the hotel but it would take some time. We did drive through it, and it would have been nice to have more time for that.

Minor, really minor, negatives to the hotel room: some lighting was not working (we didn't bother to report it), and in the event they do renovate later, they might consider adding more electrical outlets for all the device charging we needed. One large floor lamp was in the room but there was no place we could see to plug it in.

The restaurant, for both dinner and breakfast, was great. It is clearly a popular place for local persons to have a good meal.

Would we stay there again? Sure, if somehow we were to return to Gjakova. It was one of the two better hotels on our long extended road trip.
Thank Goloh

Located in the old part of the town near Grand Bazaar this is place is so unique, build of wood and stones. It does have one of the best coffees in town and also it is known for the traditional food. Customer service is exceptional. Must visit if you are in Gjakova
