Plenty of room in an interesting room with a comfy 4 poster. It is a shame that we were only booked in for one night. Very peaceful had a long chat with the nice owner who was holding the fort whilst his wife was away. Peaceful and relaxing after a busy day and the Derbyshire rain. We will be returning...

Four of us had a 2 night stay beginning of September and we were given the family room which consisted of three separate rooms. One with a four poster bed and two singles, separate bathroom and another room with two single beds and sink. The rooms were clean and very homely, making it comfortable. The whole place was very quirky...

I found this place online, not via Trip Advisor & have to say it's one of the nicest B&Bs I've stayed in. I was in the 4 poster room which was very spacious & comfortable. The owners are lovely & speaking as a person who likes his food, I found the breakfast to be fantastic & more than ample, (ask...

This is a great choice if you need a little more room to relax. It's a lovely traditional stone-built home, full of interesting antiques (the owner is quite a collector). Breakfast is offered in what used to be a small cafe, part of the main building, and was varied and filling. Our spacious suite had five beds over two bedrooms,...

Room was furnished in an old fashioned way, however the 4 poster bed we had fitted in lovely! Huge room and bathroom with tea and coffee making facilities. Only minor thing was there was some brown gunk/dried up coffee in a champagne glass, we didn't use these so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, lots of...

We stayed in the family suite of this large attractive period house. I was a little apprehensive about the four poster bed but need not have been as it was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a large bath. Just what is needed after a long hike. Our hosts were friendly and helpful the setting in the heart of...

This is a great B&B, especially for a family. The house has a really interesting history, is filled with interesting objects and furniture and the hosts, Jenny & Chris are very welcoming. We had the family room/suite with a double antique four-poster bed + two singles + sitting room area then a separate room with another 2 singles where the...
