This is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and fabulous gardens. Would love to have had more time to spend here. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We were collected and dropped to our walking point at the end and beginning of the day. The hotel restaurant was not open as it was a Sunday night but the owner... More

I enjoyed my stay here as a repute from the rain. The staff was helpful and welcoming. Good good. And when it was time to return to the Camino all i had to do is walk out the door. ! The only thing I would change is that the bathroom vents are connected and someone's fireplace smoke filled my bathroom... More

Small beautiful rustic hotel. Very quaint, comfortable and a quiet stay before continuing the Camino on to Sarria. Staff friendly and helpful; I forget some documents and Staff drove to my next hotel to bring to me. Location out of the way but hotel have free shuttle.

A grand country manor in a stunningly beautiful location - after a long day walking the Camino, this was pure luxury and we wished we had more time to spend here. The owners were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, and cooked us a truly amazing meal served in their stunning dining room. The bedroom was extremely comfortable with... More

A overnight stay in this beautiful house with amazing surroundings turned out to be the best night of our trip around Northern Spain. The place offers excellent dinner, that you have to order a couple of hours earlier (the cook only makes two menus, so you really get the feel of home cooking). The house has a pool and it... More

Booked to stay here for one night while walking the camino. That morning I received a call requesting we not arrive until 5pm, so we took a long lunch in Samos on the way. It’s off-route, and there is a sign indicating a short cut from the road, but it wasn’t clear whether to go uphill through the trees, or... More

We loved the Casa de Diaz, located about 4 KM west of Samos (look for the very small sign). We rang the bell and entered through the gate (best to park your car inside). A lovely owner greeted us and checked us in. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were served in an adjacent building,... More

My sister and I stayed here the night before we started our walk on the Camino from Sarria to Santiago. It was a wonderful, quaint country home and the perfect place to start our Camino. Very quiet. Spacious room. Wonderful property with many places to relax. The living room area in the main house, or the lounge area in the... More

I just loved this place. It is like staying in a small stately home. The host was charming and the food very good. My room was just lovely as was the bathroom and as a solo traveller I found the price very reasonable for the quality of the stay. It is a little off the beaten track but well worth... More
