    We keep returning here!
This is our favourite place to stay on Koh Samui. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and clean, although not the most modern. The apartments are spaced out around the garden so you don't feel too close to other visitors. The pool is good and the beach is lovely. You can walk from one end to the other which is not possible at many other resorts where each beach is private and sectioned off. There are lots of crabs in the shallows and it is good for swimming. The restaurant is on the beach with a great view and the food is delicious. They have good cocktails and beers but wine is not always available. I am strict vegetarian and less strict vegan. This place caters very well for vegetarians. I think the restaurant is great for vegans but the breakfast options may be limited-it might be worth asking about this in advance if you are a strict vegan. Another fabulous week on our fourth visit here :)

    Lovely stay
Gorgeous room, beautiful grounds and lovely staff. The bungalow was huge, it had a small kitchen, living area and massive bathroom. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The place is right on the beach, with a lovely sunset and large swimming pool. We also ate at the restaurant a couple of times and were pleased with the food.

    Gazebo Beach Diner
After contacting the manager, we were able to arrange a beautiful beach diner. The decoration and setup was genuinely stunning. We celebrated our engagement during this diner. Furthermore, the food was delicious and a good amount of diverse drinks too. Very friendly and helpful staff that served diner and took pictures during the dimer itself. The overall experience was excellent and I would recommend anyone to do such diner! 🙂

My experience with this property is a nightmare. Checked in around 5pm and there’s no hot running water in the room. The safe had no battery. There’s only one small AC in the bedroom, which makes the living room and bathroom hot like a hell. The maintenance guy came to fix the water temporarily but it’s gone again when I came back from the dinner. So was the electricity. Looks like the power outage is an issue in this area and there’s no backup generator at the property. Only one staff speaks English and the guy who works in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed busy. Communication is a big issue as the phone in the room doesn’t work at all. You need to WhatsApp manager for any issue and he will arrange accordingly. There’s no staff on site after 10pm. Maintenance guy didn’t come to fix the water issue at night as he went back home. I was desperate to leave around 9pm so I called the manager. Literally I escaped from this place at 10pm with a room charge of THB2700, which is ridiculous. If you can’t offer something basic like hot running water (cold water for shower is muddy by the way) for your paying guest, how could you expect people to pay for the suffering. I didn’t argue with them as I took it as a lesson learned.

Cannot speak highly enough about this place. Stayed 2 weeks with my wife for her 50th birthday. We had a large bungalow adjacent to the pool area, with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. The gardens are also meticulously kept and beautiful. The accommodation was very nice with large rooms and a high standard of facilities and decor. Breakfast was excellent, and the in house restaurant provided very nice Thai food at reasonable prices ( we stayed B&B). The island’s bustling commercial capital of Nathon is easily reached by complementary bike from the hotel, which has a great market. On our last night Chris and Ange organised a lovely candlelight evening meal for us, to the backdrop of a stunning sunset over the ocean- magic holiday we will never forget!

What a gem. A hidden paradise. Everything was just wonderfull. A quiet location with a private beach. Not crowded. Pool at the beach. The villa was very big and luxe. Restaurant was not expensive and served excellent food. And last but definitely not least, the staff was beyond friendly and so helpfull. I wish we booked this for a longer time. Just the best value for your money. Thanks again for such a stay.

So, I rather don't tell you how good this place was, so I can keep this place foe ourself, but this resort definately deserves the best review I ever gave. We stayed here for 3 nights, but I regret not staying longer. The're just 11 bungalows, so it feels really intimate and quiet. The bungalows are very spacious, especially the bathroom is really big with a nice bathtub. There's only airco in the bedroom, but in the living room was a large fan. The garden, swimming pool and beach were also really nice, but I think what really brought a smile on our face was the way we were treated by the staff. Everyone was so kind to us and they really went above and beyond to give us the best time possible. My boyfriend also arranged a very special and private dinner in the garden, what was soo lovely set up by the staff. Fresh flowers, candles and really nice food. It truely was our most romantic evening. When we had to leave the resort early in the morning, they brought us a breakfast to go. They arranged everything we needed so we really could just relax at Viva vacation resorts. I hope we can come back in the future!

I had to rush out at short notice to Koh Samui as my son had Dengue Fever. Kris ran me around on hospital visits to and from what I think is more 4 than 3 star. The villas on site are spacious and clean; the grounds are well-tended; the beach restaurant is delightful with inexpensive, tasty meals; the staff are unfailingly helpful ; and the beach, with its hammocks and beds, is to die for. I’ll never forget the kindness of the staff, especially Kris and Nitcha, on what was a difficult visit. They helped my son’s recuperation immensely. Oh, and you can walk into Lipa Noi ok and if not, use the courtesy bikes. Kris & his team exemplify what Thai and Buddhist hospitality is all about. An oasis in a quiet part of a beautiful island. The only downside is it’s not around the corner from me - it would be a chosen relaxation place if it was!!! Lol Book early - it’s only got a few villas so is quiet and unobtrusive. A gem!

We stayed 2 weeks there and every day we were happy about the decision to book this resort! The value you get for your money is unbelievable. There are only a few bungalows in that resort and they are not too close together. The pool is exactly as shown on the pictures. The Employees and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful! Breakfast is very good! Everybody should find something according the individual taste. The Restaurant and the Beach Bar are as well great! The food is a must to try. The prices are reasonable and fresh fish needs to be ordered a few hours before dinner but that is ok. You can be sure to get always fresh fish. It is extremely quiet there but no problem to get a taxi for a ride to any town nearby or farer away. We searched a quite resort and we found it with the Viva Vacation. In case we should come back we will stay there again. A small area where Koh Samui is a little bit like it was decades ago - quiet with a brilliant nature friendly people and good Thaifood!

Great little family owned resort, very nice people, great pool and reasonably priced bar and hotel food. They will help with motorbike hire. The area itself is lovely, quiet, area with friendly locals, still only short walk from seven eleven and opposite is a market and restaurants. In the market between around 5 - 7 pm you will find delicious fried chicken, sticky rice and papaya salad 😋 The accommodation is well kept, clean, comfy beds, beautifully furnished. On my last day had to check out early to catch the ferry, they made us a pack up because we missed breakfast. Highly recommend, many thanks Craig Dobbyn UK 😉👍
