This is the best resort I've ever stayed at for relaxation. Was at Ritz Carlton Maldives last year and I enjoyed Conrad Koh Samui more. We were at another resort and was not happy so booked Conrad last minute which was the best decision that trip. Stayed in the Premium Ocean View room 218. The location of this room type (213-223) was perfect. It was a flat walk to Zest where we had breakfast and dinner. It was also an easy walk up and down to Azure where we had lunch and also the beach which we enjoyed every day. We only used buggies 2 times when we arrived and departed. The beach was small but nice. The resort was full but we hardly saw other guests at the beach. Gym was very well equiped and free weights go up to 25kg. Every single staff was lovely. One reason I did not like Ritz Maldives was a few staff there made us feel uncomfortable trying hard to get us to buy resort activities but here the staff didn't bother us at all. They were really nice, friendly and accommodating. We didn't get to try Jahn but food at Azure, Zest and room service was great. Room service did not take long. I wish there were more restaurants/food choices though. We bought some food and snack in town at Tesco before coming here. Bought wine from Winepro nearby and there was also Wine connection in the same area. Good wine at the resort was expensive. We enjoyed Pomerol there (around 5000THB) while watching Sunset from the room. 3 days was not enough. I think you need at least 5. We already booked Conrad for our next trip in January 24. Can't wait to visit Contad Koh Samui again.…

Unprofessional service team, especially receptionist, housekeeping, recreation team, and management. The receptionist cannot offer a professional solution for the fact that they could not extend the check out time for an hour or two. If the hotel is really secluded and far away from the airport, and has been opened for 12 years, you’d think they’d come up with a solution for guests who have late flights but has to check out at 12; instead, they just asked us to book for spa and spend time in public pool to kill time after we check out. Housekeeping fails to show up to our room until 3 to 5 pm for a couple times even after we turned on the “please clean my room” green button in the morning, might as well just offer to clean the room once per day like other more affordable hotels. Their reason for late housekeeping is “we’re busy.” Their boat ride heads out twice per day, once for shared boat ride in the afternoon, once for private ride in the morning. The private ride was booked for the morning, so they offered to block other guests from joining the shared ride and make the shared ride a private boat ride for us in the afternoon. That’s just unprofessional to the point that I had to call it out to their guest relation manager directly. Management seems like they couldn’t care less about our unpleasant experience. Ever since we complained about their lack of professionalism, they started to “forget” about our buggy requests. This morning during check out, they also called 1 single small buggy for us for two people and two huge luggages, unlike the first day, there were two buggies to make sure we feel relaxed. On a side note, obviously the rooms are a no drone zone, but how come some get the approval and it’s us the guests who have to accommodate the inconvenience. Flying once wasn’t enough, they arranged the drone shooting three times throughout the day. We felt like our privacy was compromised. This place could’ve really been the hit for us, but only if the management seeks to improve and start training the staff members on how to be professional in a 5 star hotel. It was a very unpleasant experience overall. The room and the facilities are old. The view isn’t as impressive as I’ve been told - we got a premium ocean view pool villa. People are saying that the view is so good that it’d make you overlook the flaws, and that’s not the case for me. Some staff were friendly, and some were just indifferent. Buggy might be the only interesting thing. The toilet flush in the room has been weak and slow. We had to flush it a few times to get it all out. It’s not the same compared to the ones in the public area. We had room service checking it up, but there was nothing that they could do and told us to only flush once. The issue is, we only flush it multiple times because it couldn’t work at the first time. Beef and veal at Jahn was alright. The servers were nice. We had breakfast at Zest. the cushion on my seat had a lot of ants all over, and when I spotted them it was already too late and got bitten already. I’m fine with one or two occasional ants, even on bed, but not okay with a group of ants in a seating area. Buffet area also had a lot of flies over food. The servers at Zest couldn’t care less. Spa closes way too early at 7PM so we couldn’t even book an appointment after we arrived and rested a bit. When we called after breakfast the next day, the whole day’s been booked up. And when you had gone through all those, you’d be disappointed and just don’t want to go anymore. I had planned out on what to do throughout the trip and it’s now killing the mood to do anything. we had a good time in the pool in our room, but again the facilities are old and there were like water stains or rust at the bottom of the pool. Some staff were helpful. I needed some beauti drinks and learned how to order from 711. The hotel only has one boat for motorized activities according to the reception. So if you want to go out, either through a private or a shared trip, make sure you make an appointment as early as possible. We wanted a private trip but the regular time in the morning isn’t available. They recommended the time slot for the shared trip for us but charged as private boat since they said they could block other guests from joining. That made me feel sick. That’s not fair to anybody else who wants a shared trip at the same time slot. This hotel really needs a lot of training to be professional. We had spa treatment at Conrad for two days straight. Would recommend giving Thai style or aroma oil massages a try. The best experience we had at Conrad was from Azure. That at least brightened up our vacation experience a bit. The housekeeping service was sloppy and slow. I understand that there are currently more people getting here but that doesn’t mean that it should be rushed. One of the towels last night had stains, not sure if it’s just old or not cleaned well. Our umbrella was shut the entire trip, and when we asked on the second day, they told us it’s upon request. Well, when we got here on the first day, it was set up alright. Also, coming from reception, if you want to get housekeeping in the morning, you have to call, I guess the button of housekeeping request in the room doesn’t work. Desserts at night was missing the tray our last night. Didn’t get small towels for two days straight in the daytime. Our requests of buggy got forgotten 3 times on the third day of our trip. There was a time we waited for ~25 minutes. They told us they were busy, but the buggy came up pretty fast after we called again, so it’s hard not to assume. If you have a late flight like we do, avoid it. It doesn’t allow you to extend the checkout time to a bit later like most 5-star resorts would do. Genuinely they just don’t care. Overall, it’s a place I wouldn’t call a 5-star resort. More of an outdated, unprofessional hotel. They’ve been taking the advantage of the sunset view on the island, but it’s been 12 years and it’s time to rebrand. I’m coming back to Samui in June but I won’t choose this place again.…

The Conrad Koh Samui was hailed by many netizens as one of the crown jewels in Hilton's Asia Pacific hotel portfolio and having experienced it, I would proudly say the same too. I would even rate this as the best hotel experience I've had in recent years with full marks given to the hospitality of the staff, amazing views and great rooms. My wife and I had the best time during our 3D2N recent trip to Conrad Koh Samui where we booked a villa for 2 pax. The hotel is situated at an amazing location with legendary views of the sea and sunset from your own villa, which has a private infinity pool for us to lounge around. Despite it's age, the villa is maintained in a great condition and recent refurbishments which I understood took place during the COVID19 years further enhanced our experience of staying at the Conrad Koh Samui. Most of all, what made our stay so great was the hospitality of the staff on site. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Jack Huang (Assistant Guest Relations Manager), who reached out to us via email prior to our arrival and kept in touch with us via whatsapp (almost on a 24 hrs basis) to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He made my wife and I feel welcomed from the first minute we stepped onto the resort, addressing us by our names each time he sees us, making us feel like we are old friends of his. Even after we have left, he made arrangements to mail us an item which we left behind at the hotel despite his busy schedule. We are highly appreciative of him and his team for taking such good care of us during our stay and their hospitality is definitely one of the reasons why our stay is highly memorable! I could not feel anything so called true hospitality from the staff in this hotel, especially from the reception. They do not know how to behave in the public area. I don't know if I've come to a 5-star hotel to check in or entered a dramatic backyard. My partner understands Thai, and it is very uncomfortable to hear the Thai staff talking about their colleagues in a very bad manner, gossiping around things that we don't have to know at all or hear. One of them was called New, and I could not catch the other staff's name. We also saw the Chinese staff (slim one) filtering with a very young lady who clearly did not felt comfortable.

This place was magical! We went for our honeymoon, and loved it. It was at the upper end of our budget, but it was worth it. I had the best massage of my life. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast buffet was great and you can't beat that view of the sun setting over the water! The only thing that was a little off was the restaurant food. It didn't wow us. I'd still go back, though!

Resort is on the southwestern end of the island, a 1-hour drive from the Samui airport. All "rooms" are villas with a private pool. Prices go up as your villa goes higher and higher up the hill. As a Diamond Elite, received an upgrade to a 5-Islands View Pool Villa. Breakfast is simply scrumptious, with a myriad of choices including local dishes and fresh baked pastries. The villa itself is spacious with a gigantic bathroom and French doors and glass walls throughout, affording magnificent ocean views as you walk out onto the private patio and pool area with loungers and breakfast nook. Excellent stargazing at night. Lush vegetation throughout that is well-maintained. Conrad does a good job at insect mitigation because I had no problems with mosquitoes, quite unusual for me.
