We were lucky enough to be given a gift of a cookery instruction course at Cragganmore House and so decided to spend an extra day there so we could relax the night before. I'm glad we did. The house has been lovingly recreated traditional fittings and furnishings which is like stepping back into a more glamourous age but its so...

I spent one night here with six of my friends in our whisky distillery tour trip in Speyside. It is fair to say that Cragganmore house was everything we looked for and more. A real Scottish countryhouse with the most friendly hosts. When we arrived, there was fresh coffee and biscuits waiting for us. At the night Tony cooked us...

If you are doing the Speyside whisky trail then you simply must stay in this house. It was the home of the founder of the Cragganmore distillery. The house had great character and the owners provided a lovely meal.

This is a beautiful home - lovingly restored. Tony and Helen are amazing hosts and went out of their way to accommodate us including adding one additional couple for dinner at the last minute. You MUST eat dinner here - the food is absolutely incredible. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

I have stayed at Cragganmore House four years running, three weeks at a time. It is a lovely period house of character restored authentically to how it may have been when it was the residence of the gentleman distillery owner, set in the countryside with great wide views over the Spey and Avon valleys and to the hills behind. You...

This place is a gem. Wonderful house, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Great hosts and really excellent food. We had the most amazing, restaurant quality meal. They don't have a licence, but you're welcome to bring your own wine. Give it a try, you'll love it!

Again we did not stay in the house, but Tony and Helen went out of their way to provide us with ist class catering brought to our Holiday Cottage. Food was up there with any Michelin Star restaurant especially the smoked salmon which Tony smokes himself. Made our holiday.

As others have said, a lovely house with welcoming owners and excellent food. We arrived late in the evening and Helen was waiting for us. 8 hours later she was showing us to our table for breakfast and serving a hot, cooked-to-order meal. She and Tony are warm and unassuming, traits that weave through the house itself. Do yourself a...

It is eccentric. A house that belonged to the founder of the local distillery, now owned by Tony and Helen and stuffed full of random antiques, that all seem to work. The highlight is undoubtedly Tony's cooking, which was of the highest quality to match anything in Scotland. Equally as important, they are lovely, welcoming people

We were booked in as we walked the speyside way and we rated it the best place we stayed in during our 5 day walk. The rooms were lovely and spacious with different characters. The welcome from Helen and her family was very kind and helpful. The food was to die for. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
