Called in on the off chance tonight Very welcoming and showed us to a lovely table for 2 Two. My husband had lamb shank and I had the slow cooked ribs. Both excellent and the chips were to die for. Large menu and very different. Great find, we will be visiting them regularly.

When you enter a countryside pub and then find what you are looking for in local ambiance, locals, smiles and friendliness you only wish that you had all the time in the world - this was such a place. Great place with locals enjoying themselves and caring staff and good food and fair prized drinks. If this wasn't so bloody... More

Discovered by accident when we were driving around looking for somewhere to eat. To be honest, it didn't look that promising from the outside, but was lovely inside. Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient service, and good portions of really well cooked traditional food. Had drinks too and bill was about £34. (There were four of us: three adults and one... Lovely pub atmosphere. Food was very good, I had an all day breakfast which was very good, my fiancee had chicken pasta with a creamy white wine sauce which also was very good. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and eton mess desserts were equally nice. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices didn't break the bank by... More

We called in for a drink at the Penrhos Arms in Llanfair PG. Most people go to the Railway Station to take a picture of the lengthy name of this place which is just in Anglesey. I had a half of Bass whilst my wife had a lager & lime. We got chatting with the clientele in the Public Bar.... More

Superb family meal for mothers day. Lovely food and very pleasant staff. Will definitely be returning. Thanks. The roast dinners are so tasty. Nice homely feel to the place. Also my little boy enjoyed a game of pool after lunch. One of my favourite places so far.

Turning up without booking isn't always the best way to approach Mother's Day but I needn't have worried. We was made very welcome. Often on busy periods staffing levels can be lean at best. Not here. No long waits between courses. The food was amazing and plenty of it, freshly prepared and well presented. Staff very polite and professional. One... More
