A great little B&B in the heart of gorgeous Eyam, the proprietors Janet and Ian are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They have accommodated our late arrival times on several occasions with grace! Comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms leave you refreshed the next morning and the tasty breakfast sets you up for a day exploring...

Spent one night here and enjoyed the stay. Comfortable beds in well-equipped rooms. A warm reception & a welcoming cup of tea. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Very helpful proprietors. Car parking is a little restricted but there is some on-street parking.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend of hiking. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome from the Smiths and we were shown a cosy clean and lovely room. Full English breakfast is cooked on the spot on request, while the buffet is quite varied and full of good things, among which also some homemade jams and...

We stayed just one night as my son wanted to show his American partner nearby Chatsworth House. We were given a warm welcome by Ian and Janet despite interrupting their evening meal! The rooms were well appointed with Roberts radios, free wifi and coffee and tea making gear. Attractive limited edition prints decorated the house throughout. The light and airy...

Stayed one night on a Sunday and had the most lovely welcome even though we interupted Janet and Ian's daughter's homecoming! A most welcome cup of tea even though we were really early, and one of the most comfortable bed's I've ever slept in! Note the village pub doesn't do food on a Sunday night but the local Indian restaurant...

Phew, this place is not the easiest to find on Trip Advisor for some reason, but I'm glad I made it here because I really wanted to say what a great place this is. Despite us turning up late, unannounced, and just before Janet set off for her book discussion group, she and Ian really made us feel welcome and...

The owners were both friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable - especially the bed. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had (we both loved the home made oat cakes). The cottage is in a fantastic location.

Stopped at Crown Cottage for two nights to attend a navigation training course in nearby Stoney Middleton. As with others Janet and Ian gave me a warm welcome and showed a genuine interest in what I was doing and in making sure I was well looked after. Very pleasant room with all facilities including tea and choc biscuits. Excellent cooked...

Our family had a wonderful stay at Crown Cottage. We were going to a friend's wedding nearby and the owners were really helpful in recommending taxis, phoning to book a table in the local pub and advising us on shopping in Chesterfield. They really go the extra mile and are very welcoming. Rooms are clean, tasteful and comfortable and the...

Had a wonderful couple of days at Crown Cottage, in the Plague Village of Eyam. Janet and Ian greeted us on arrival, and were very informative on the local area, with lots of information at hand about the local area. They had also kindly arranged a booking at the local pub for us weary travellers who had journeyed all day...
