The husband had cod cheeks which he declared delicious. Both had pork - roast for him, belly for me. Both cooked to perfection with wonderful flavours. Thought we'd had enough but couldn't resist...

We lunched on New Years Day and despite being a large number in a busy restaurant we were very well looked after. The menu caters for those who prefer traditional fare such as fish and chips and scamp to homemade quails egg scotch eggs, excellent fillet of beef, and marvellous cod with a bouillon of cockles and mussels. Delicious roast turkey lunch with all the trimmings plus bowl of perfectly steamed veg and cauliflower and broccoli cheese - now waiting for Christmas pud and brandy butter - the best place to eat in North Norfolk

On our sons recommendation we called in here for Sunday Lunch. As we had not booked, we could see it was extremely busy, so we did not expect them to be able to find us a table. However they cleared a table and seated us very quickly. The menu had plenty of choice and the staff soon took our order....

Every course was excellent but special mention must be made of the cheesecake, which was amazing. The service is faultless and the decor and ambience are lovely. If you want a really great meal out head for The Duck Inn.
