The mountain view from this place is very beatifull. (You can see the sun set) The rooms very clean. We wanted to explore the region, and used this place as the base. The view here from the terrace is much better than nearby Farma Sotira. The rooms are very clean, some with ensuite bathroom, some with shared bathroom. Unfortunately they do not have rooms with a balcony with a valley view. The breakfast is included is basic and not special. The food in the attached restaurant is average, but the same quality as at Farma Sotira. There are hikes in the area, but the staff does not speak English so you have to trust on your navigating skills and use maps.me were some paths are shown. This region is one of the most beatifull but not yet discovered. The telephone number in the Bradt guidebook is not correct it should be 00 355 68 207 1092. They have almost always rooms available so booking ahead is at the moment not required. They only show one room on website booking but they have several rooms. If you stay here also do the horse riding excursion at Farma Sotira (3km to the south) which brings you to some nice scenery! The second and third photo show the view from the terrace! First photo is from the valley.

We had enjoyed the drive up the mountain, with spectacular views and arriving at this place was a great end to the day. The host welcomed us as if old friends and we enjoyed coffee, raki and conversation with him on the terrace. We had an upper room with ensuite, up a curious spiral stairway. It was basic but clean and comfortable. Albania's hospitality trade is still developing, so any visitor staying at this level of accommodation should relax and go with the flow! We asked for local dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed followed by a lesson in Greek dance from our host as we and our fellow guests enjoyed the craic with our friendly host. Next morning a wander around the grounds showed where some of the fresh produce came from and we reluctantly bid our attentive host farewell.

We stayed one night in this mountainside Guesthouse. The location is excellent offering great views and in an area where there is little alternative accommodation. The bedroom was large, clean and the beds were comfortable. Free wifi was available. We thought we had an ensuite room we didn't. However the very small bathroom for the first floor was directly outside our door and we were the only guests staying on that floor. The bathroom was tiny. The loo had no seat and best of all the shower was simply a shower hose hanging by the toilet. When we had showers water ran under the bathroom door into the hall and under our bedroom door. Thankfully the owners had left a bucket and mop outside for guests to use. I estimate that when busy 10 people could have use of this bathroom. Dinner was downstairs on a terrace or inside the main building. We chose to eat inside. No sooner had we started eating than the owner and two friends sat on an adjoining table and all three started smoking. The menu was limited and a number of things we chose were not available. Chicken and Goulash were two things unavailable. We asked could they offer us pasta which was not on the menu. No was the reply. As we finished our meal, the kitchen staff had theirs and guess what, it was Spaghetti. The two waiters tried there best to look after us which we appreciated. Finally when we came to settle our modest bill they had made a mistake and it was higher than it should have been. It was quickly corrected without argument. In summary should we return to the area we will look to stay somewhere else.
