My son and I visited King Pacific Lodge(KPL) in the third week of August. I have two sons and last year I brought the oldest and now i'm taking my youngest. Now the three of us talk about the fishing trip. KPL is a very special place and experience. The lodge is beautiful and well run. The staff are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. The food is outstanding. The rooms are large with a large bathroom. Our guide Harvey, which was born and raised in Bella Bella, was perfect for me and my son. He grew up fishing in the area and knew where to take us. He also help us with picking the right lures and even jumped in if we were slow on a bite. The bartender Brian was amazing. He engaged us in conversation and always made sure our needs were met. KPL is a first class fishing lodge and world class fishing experience. Yes I will go again. …
The Lodge itself is amazingly beautiful. The entire staff that I have met make you feel welcome and they go out of their way to ensure that you have a great time. The menu is varied, very well presented and very good. The location in the Central Coast provides the angler with some of the finest angling on the BC Coast. Truly a wonderful experience. King Pacific lodge is without a doubt in a class of its own.
Great resort, incredible fishing with an excellent staff. The food is increcible and the gear is top notch. The scenery is amazing so everyone will like the trip whether you are an avid angler or an amateur.
book early though the fishing is very good all summer. the accommodations and the food is outstanding and the staff is fantastic. Besides fishing you see the beauty of the B.C. and wild life up close, as in whales(both hump backs and Killers), sea otters, bald eagles, sea lions, deer, I've even seen wolfs, and yes, a bear. The beauty of this area will take your breath away. I will continue to make this lodge my favorite stop in B.C.
Its our family's (Dads, sons, and brother in laws) yearly get away. Its far enough away to feel like you're getting away, but close enough that you can fish in the morning and be home later the same day.
