The hotel looked stunning upon arrival, check in was painless and the room was functional but looked very 1980's.The aircon was turned up full but the unit just made noise and didn't really cool anything down, Wi fi was good. Towels were stained yellow like Homer Simpsons Y fronts, these were replaced with ones slightly less stained, however badly stained towels kept returning throughout the 2 week stay. The view that greeted us on waking the first morning was spectacular however the euphoria was short lived and brutally put down after i saw the breakfast offerings, just about edible is the best I can do. The half board dinner was vile, cold basically slop with some meat in it, we ate out most nights which was not a problem except for the fact you need a taxi to get you to the nearest town, which in this case was Aheloy. Thoroughly recommend the Corner restaurant, the El Mar and Our House, all 3 did lovely food at reasonable prices. There was no entertainment at all in the hotel and to be fair not that many people, it had the vibrancy of an old peoples home in Southport. After the first night i was tediously bored, very relaxed tho. Sunbeds were abundant as the hotel was quite quiet, the indoor pool was nice and the saunas were free to hotel resident which was a positive, Didn't see the Gym as i am a Fat B*****d and don't use them If we had stayed in the resort for the whole holiday I think I would have gouged out my eyes with a rusty spoon. However the rest of the holiday was fab loved Nessebar and Bourgas and Sunny beach was good too. Must recommend our driver and guide Boris who took us on excursions, shopping trips or just out to the pub, his prices were cheap , he never ripped you off. Boris cares about his resort and he wants people to go away happy with their Bulgarian experiences, he is a real ambassador and a true gentleman. If you need to book an excursion you can find Boris SB on facebook you wont be disappointed. Going back to the food, as others have pointed out the a la carte food is very good which means they can cook which to me makes the dross produced for half board even more of an insult. My family will be back to Sunny Beach but not this hotel, its a 2 star with delusions of grandeur.

heres the way it is folks. this place is an absolute hidden gem. situated in the beautiful place that is nessebar. ten minutes taxi ride from sunny beach you've really got the best of both worlds. I just cant praise this place enough. fabulous staff and an absolutely idyllic place to stay. we have stayed in sunny beach for the last 3 years and decided do do something different. great little bars, away from all the hustle and bustle but so close if you want to go into sunny beach and be 18 again. I really cant recommend this place enogh. fabulous staff, fabulous scenery. it really has it all and I don't say that lightly. if there was something to whinge about we would have found it. instead of 10 out of ten im giving it not 11 but 12 out of ten. enough said!!!!!

Stayed here for 10 days in July. The resort is quite secluded so you will need to hire a car or get taxis from the hotel which can be quite expensive. Sunny beach is nice but very busy and bourgas has some good shopping malls also. You get good value for your money . The resort is a large complex with rooms and apartments. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment which had WiFi, kitchen , en-suite etc.. it was a nice apartment. The rooms are not cleaned daily though, extra charge for cleaner service but we did have a small vacuum cleaner provided. The pool is large with a pool bar with plenty of sun beds and comfortable seating area. The staff were accommodating and helpful when required. The food at the restaurant is good but there isn’t a huge choice like other resorts if you are half board, especially if you are vegetarian or vegan. There is a shop on site but as you would expect it’s expensive so I would advice a trip to Aldi to stock up on essentials at some point. Overall, a relaxing stay in Bulgaria.

Beautiful resort, the pool bar was lovely. Great food and only a short ride from sunny beach in a taxi for night life. The beach was awesome and the weather couldn’t have been better. Coming back next year !
