I celebrated first day of 2021 at Camp E Khass with my family. It is beautiful and awesome place to have quality time with family. The ambience and staff of camp e khass is friendly and very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights at the venue and enjoyed a lot. The camps were luxurious and were clean. The property is managed very well by the staff. They have traditional programme every evening along with finger licking snacks followed by amazing dinner with lot of varieties and rajasthani dishes. The whole stay and trip was mesmerising due to Camp e khass staff and their team. Thank you for lovely stay. Regards, Karan
2N/3D stay in CW01'20. Ideal place for family & friends. Staff is very courteous and they take good care of guests. Tent, beds, bedding were tidy & clean. Heater/Convector was provided to beat the cold. Attached washroom were well maintained, having 24 hours running hot water. Buffet food had plenty options in breakfast & dinner. They do not provide lunch and recommend guests to visit city or explore nearby area. Morning / evening tea is served in tents. Enough open space for kids & family to play and interact. Major highlights of 2N/3D are - Morning sunrise jeep safari - Evening sunset jeep safari - Evening cultural program, bone fire (snack are served while seated) - Socializing & DJ.

We stayed 1 night in the camp (27/12/2019). It was a mixed experience staying inside a tent. It was very cold outside, but inside the tent all the amenities were present, which make anybody comfortable.Room heaters were provided in our tent. Bathroom was nicely maintained along with facility of running hot waters. In the morning, hot waters were available only after 6.30 am. Nice programme was arranged in the evening. Complementary camel suffari was in the package, but had to travel approximately 1.5 km by own convenience to reach there. Non-veg foods were not available, only veg foods were served. Food quality was just OK. Overall experience was good.
Nothing Khas about it. It is like tens of other property situated in the Thar Desert. Further it is a bit away from the road and the path leading to it is narrow and not tarred so you need to wind up your way here with bumps and strains. The check in is not allowed before 4 p.m. and you need to check out before 10 a.m the next day which is a bit strange the property itself is very ok as it is tented and has its limitations Dont expect a luxury room but a big space having a cot and some tables including a bathroom and toilet separately. Please ensure that you book for the Air Conditioner when you are there in Summer and for Room heater in Winter as they dont provide as part of the package, you need to specify the same. You would need to request the switching on off the A/c and heater as they have a centralised power unit. They provide you a welcome drink on arrival and coffee/biscuits once you settle in. Now for the Camel ride which is part of the package. Again please ensure that you book the jeep to take you to the Camel ride as they try to pull a fast one stating that you use the cab that took you to the Resort to take you to the camel ride site which is about 3 to 4 kms. Understand they try to cut corners here. Our package included Camel ride but these guys were reluctant to take us to the camel site stating that we need to use our cab. I had to call the tour operator to ensure that this was indeed included inthe package after which they arranged some cab which had come to drop some one and post the camel ride had to wait for another 20-30 minutes before another cab of a close by camp came to drop us. Very poor coordination. Try to avoid Camel ride through the resort as there are enough camels on the way where you can just drop off and take a ride. Camel Ride is by itself not great, they take you for about a km before they drop you off and you need to walk to the main road for the pick up point. Pity those camels who are made to work and take loads of people on their back. Jeep Safari is not inlcuded and need to be paid separately but again avoid if you can can, again not much to expect. Food is not that great but manageable but not the value that you pay. We were staying in Winter in this place and the heater could not manage the cold weather and we were a bit of freezing in the tent. Later realised that there was a gap in the tent between the A.c and the scafolding which was allowing the cold air from outside to seep into the tent. Small things to notice but needs to be taken care. If you are driving with a Driver, please make sure you have a place for him to rest as there is limited space in the resort for these Drivers to rest. Our driver was one among the first to reach so got a place but it was not the case with other drivers who had to bear the cold and sleep in their car or van which is a real pain considering they would need to rest before they can drive back The only highlight for which I am 2 stars is the entertainment program which is the traditional Rajasthani folk songs and dance which was enthraling as everyone of us enjoyed. The Artists really need a pat in the back for keeping the tradition of Rajasthan alive with their songs and dance, very refreshing after all the DJ and VJ which you hear back in cities. Overall..Stay away from this property. If you still want to experience the Desert safari and stay experience, look for the above issues or a better property which can be googled.…
