A great place to stay in the new forest, great views to wake up to! We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess (and Ben the dog) and looked after for our stay with a wealth of local knowledge. A perfect place to stay if you want take walks into the forest.

What else can I say that hasn't already been said? This is a fantastic place in a great location - ideal for pubs, walks or a quick overnight stop before getting the ferry from Lymington. Ali was the ideal host; helpful without being intrusive, and (let's get our priorities straight, here . . .) produced a truly wonderful breakfast. My... More

The far side bed and breakfast run by the owner Alison, a happy soul, is a good stopover at very reasonable rates, if you are in the south new forest/ lymington area.i have stayed a couple of times both times in a nice room with a Juliet balcony overlooking fields. Very peaceful! The TV could have been a bit bigger.The... More

A lovely little B&B with a friendly and helpful owner and her well-behaved dog, lovely views, and a hearty breakfast. We didn't use it, but I think I saw a "Forest Bus" bus stop just on the road out the front so worth checking out if you are going to be using the Forest Bus for site seeing in the... More

We just stayed for 1 night in this B&B, but we found it quit comfortable. We had a nice room on the first floor. Beds are ok. Breakfast was tasty and it was nice to have breakfast together with the other guests. Ali is a friendly host.

Perfect for us as had a wedding just down the road. Lovely setting. Rooms are absolutely fine, but not huge if planning on spending time in them. The breakfast was good, and ali's friend Becky looked after us very well - thank you again!!! Very quaint little b&b.

Clean, comfortable, lovely surroundings, and provides everything a traveller could ask. The breakfasts are delicious and enormous, and the hostess flexible about their scheduling. She is very kind about lending her survey maps, providing coupons for discounts, and making suggestions for different activities in the neighbourhood. I would love to return for a longer stay. This is one of the... More
