Day 15 of Pennine Way walk. After a tough 20 mile walk, it was a pleasure to make the acquaintance of Lyndale's owners. A cup of tea etc in the garden gave an opportunity for recovery. The room was well laid out, clean and tidy - with a great moorland view. The bathroom and shower were, both, a little cramped... More

Fine B&B on the Pennine Way,in a beautiful region. Good rooms, excellent service, very fine breakfast, nice people. A pleasure to stay here. Bellingham has al the services you need: pubs, a Co-op, a bank etc.

One of our many stops on the Pennine Way, and after a hard days walking we were met by the owner (Ken) with tea and biscuits. A lovely touch for any new arrivals. Very clean in both rooms and bathroom. Laundry service offered is invaluable for anyone walking the PW. Food literally round the corner at the local pub was... More

We stayed here for two nights whilst walking The Pennine Way. One of us was struggling with an ankle injury and could barely walk. Ken gave us a warm welcome and supplied an ice bandage (which helped greatly) and tea/coffee which we enjoyed in the garden. The room, whilst small, was comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a... More

We stayed here 2 nights on the Pennine Way. We were greeted with tea and biscuits and made to feel very welcome. Ken and Joyce very helpful and accomodating while arranging our transfers from Byrness. When we set off on our walk Ken gave us a few helpful hints about the route and issued us with chocolate bars to help... More

Ken and Joy could not have been more friendly and welcoming if they tried. Ken was a mine of information about the Pennine Way and the surrounding area. We loved staying here. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast but most important of all was the way we were made to feel totally at home.

The owners are an older couple who were lovely friendly hosts. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and some biscuits and sat in the pleasant garden. The twin room was rather compact and furnished in a rather dated style. Overall a good place to stay but we've stayed at more stylish ones for the same money. What makes... More

The bedrooms are spotless, equipped with kettle, tea and coffee (necessary after a long days bike ride) Bathroom with bath and... More

I was one of a group of seven cyclists doing a demanding bike ride for charity who stayed at the Lyndale for two nights. What we needed was somewhere which was friendly, clean and comfortable and this guest house was perfect. We got a great welcome and every assistance during our stay. The breakfast menu was excellent and I particularly... More
