Situated right on the Pennine Way I chose this smart little guest house over the pub. The twin room was just about big enough to spread myself and my walking gear with a smallish en-suite tucked into one of the corners of the room. A full English breakfast was cooked to order.

A stop on our Pennine Way walk. Such a friendly and knowledgeable couple. It felt like we were staying at our grandparents’ house. Biscuits and tea on arrival and lots of very useful information for our next day walking. Room smallish but that is normal for a Bed and Breakfast

When I arrived tired and weary after 15 miles of the Pennine Way I was greeted by Ken as if I was the long lost son. A welcome cup of tea and biscuits and very comfy room were superb. This b and b is highly recommended.
