Very warm friendly unpretentious hotel, first class food an excellent stay all round only held back a five as décor is a little bit tired. Good location for touring the area, would certainly stay again when visiting Northumberland. Room 8

First class food, staff and service. Unpretentious and very friendly. The standard of food is exceptional and not over-priced. Lots of places to visit in surrounding area and plenty walks of varying lengths. Well worth another visit.

Very good rooms overlooking lawns ,everything you need, excellent evening meals, efficient service, nice area to visit ,quiet location. Pool water rather too hot in summer but maybe welcome in winter! Good value overall and would really recommend as a place to stay.
