Large, clean rooms. Restaurant menu is not huge but very well balanced. Dishes delicious. Spaceous parking area. Staff.. staff is just perfect. Friendly and profesional. This hotel is my choice when I be next time in Warsaw
Firstly, being English is perhaps not so good, in this part of the 'less touristic' Poland... that's all I can assume as I/we, have had much better experiences in other parts of the country, however... Here is the experience me and my colleague recently had: We checked in late, only ten minutes after the restaurant had closed and asked if the chef would offer some food - we were simply told no, but 'mcdonald's or KFC' was still open (this was after i explained that both me and my colleague had traveled from the uk much earlier on in the day) So we decided to sit at the hotel bar where there was an wedding reception on (we asked before going in, if that was ok and were told 'yes' - it was, to point out, the only bar), we sat quietly in the corner, while being dressed in suits, having a glass of wine and asked to initially polite barman to help us order pizza directly to the hotel - which he kindly did - as we had no other option to eat. Five minutes later we were asked to leave the bar (RUDE) and sit in an adjoining room until our food arrived. Our food arrived an hour later (no fault of the hotel) and i made my way into reception to pay for said pizza, where i was rudely followed in, by the barman and told that i could not take the pizza back into there bar - which he had already explained earlier and we said it was not something we would ever do - we do have manners!!!! He stood there until the entire transaction had taken place and then watched us until we walked up the stairs with our food to eat back in our room - totally out of order and no way to treat guests with such distain. They made us feel like uncomfortable on every level possible and all in-front of my hungry client. That evening i when i finally made it to my room, the temperature was stuck on 27c as the air conditioning was clearly broke... The wedding party also stood outside my room (which was on the first floor) for over 30 minutes at 2am laughing and shouting loud on the landing area, with no respect for other guests and even though the receptionist was only one floor down they must have heard this and said nothing and allowed it to happen - so no sleep was had. Next morning - breakfast... NO seats to sit on, NO staff to guide us, they just watched and said nothing!!! So we had to clear our own table, lay our own cutlery and eat what looked like scraps and left overs at only 8.45am, of course the remnants of the previous wedding party were well catered for - other paying guests did not matter clearly. We returned for night two, ate at the restaurant this time, again, unfriendly staff, no one came to our table for drinks, they made us stand up and ask for menus, food arrived cold, no apologies, took it away and replaced it ten minutes later without explanation - they offered no discount off the bill and never offered us dessert - (We noticed that 30 mins before the restaurant was supposed to close, they turned all the lights off in the kitchen and the staff just stood around talking - while customers sat there looking for service) - overall this was one of the worst meals, service and atmosphere i ever encountered - NOT 4* food or service. I then proceeded back to my room in this gloomy hotel and had to endure another night of excessively hot temperatures in my room (so clearly the reception had done nothing to fix it, when i complained that very morning ) only thing missing was the loud party outside my room at 2am this time. My opinion and that of my colleagues experiencing the same rude, uncaring attitude, is that if your are Polish then they might offer great service or a warm welcome but we certainly never found anything but a reason not to go back.…
Very nice hotel on the outskirts of Warsaw. I spent there few weeks in July on a business trip and after that I was coming back every now and then. Very modern restaurant with most dishes having a local "Polish twist" added I really liked that. One of the few hotels you'd remember, unlike most which are exactly the same, dull and usually not pleasant.
Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, very clean, great condition, staff very polite and always willing to help. Restaurant very elegant and serving delicious foods. Would recommend this hotel and will stay in it again next time we are in Warsaw.
Great rooms. Spacious, modern, cozy, good view. The hotel is very nice, with good staff. Very good food. Nice places for the kids. Good outdoor garden and area. It is not in a fun area, so it is best for parties (weddings etc.) and work (very nice work rooms).
