Just want to relax and chill in the sun, then welcome to the Queens Bay Hotel. This outstanding hotel is set in its own well, kept gardens that lead down to a “cute” natural lagoon. The Queens Bay is the choice if you want a soothing, calming tranquil holiday with all the facilities of a four star hotel at 3 star rates. The Queens Bay is situated in a wonderful location, set back from the main road with beautiful views of the sea and mountains and dramatic sunsets in the evenings as seen from the pool terraces, which add to the serenity of this hotel.

We stayed for a week in May at this hotel. The hotel was not very busy for the time of year. We had a room which was directly over the car park and so asked to be moved, which they duly did to the next floor up behind the lifts. The Reception staff (gentlemen) were helpful to a degree. We are use to in hotels having information to read in the room about the hotel, service and charges which there was one in the room we changed from, when we asked for one for this room were told anything we need to know just ask reception. Which is OK but we like to read information for ourselves. The Restaurant was pleasantly laid out though the waiters were not particularly friendly unless you were in a group or had stayed there before. There was a large selection of food though often even if you went to dinner at 7 o'clock the food was often cold. The Chef was not particularly helpful if you asked what something was. The hotel generally was clean and tidy, but the rooms are in need of updating and the towels were Grey instead of White. Safe was old style in respect of you had to purchase the lock from reception and each time you opened the safe the lock came out. To hire a safe is 12 euros a week in May. There was a large building work up from the front of the hotel so whichever way you were going to be disturbed by noise.

My wife and I stayed at the Queens Bay Hotel from the 5-15June 19, we booked our trip with First Choice, our flight to Paphos Airport was good, the transfer to the hotel took about 30-40mins, but was ok, the Hotel was perfect, our room was reasonable, comfortable and very clean, we found out the side of the hotel we were on is due for refurbishment later this year, our TUI rep Nicky was very helpful and helped us with choosing a trip, her knowledge of the trips was spot on we had a great time and she has a good sense of humour, the hotel staff are fantastic, the food and drinks are wonderful, the facilities are excellent, the sun beds are Lush, we cannot fault the holiday in any way, we will definitely be returning to Queens Bay Hotel, it should be a four star, it certainly feels like it is. I stayed here for a week in June 2019. We arrived at nearly midnight one evening and dinner is going until 10pm. We were so hungry but the hotel had sandwiches availbale for us upon arrival. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at reception who gave us an upgrade on our room to a sea view for only 10euro per night which was fantastic, we had such beautiful views of the pool and beach and the sun set right outside the balcony. The balcony was only very small with two plastic chairs and a table but it was enough. The food was good, they had a different type of food each night, whilst we were there they had, Chinese, around the world, Greek, Italian, Carvery, BBQ. I am quite a fussy eater and there was always something to eat. Lunch was basic but good with the option to have snacks between 3pm-5pm. Breakfast was great. The entertainment was not to my taste but everyone was very entertained and there was a selection of different things to do. The staff were all very friendly who got to know you and would always make jokes and go out of their way to help you. Lots of friendly guests from all around the world. Not a lot in the area but a short walk (up a steep hill) there is a bus stop into the town/harbour which is around 5euro for a day pass on the buses. Around a ten minute walk there is a beautiful beach bar called Sea You Beach Bar, defiantly worth a visit. I would visit The Queens Bay Hotel again.
