It used to be good, now is dirty, old furniture from years now, and expensive for the quality it offers. The shower is horrible and consumed to maximum. They used to offer breakfast in the price, now they have removed, and the breakfast is really poor, also food in general. The only good thing is the beach.

We had a great stay in a beautiful location. It's hard to find such a natural location unspoilt in the Mediterranean. Beach huts overlook the sea. The atmosphere is friendly. It is a very special stay!

Huge disappointment. Very unprofessional staff working there and not friendly at all. Different prices for the same thing on each day at the restaurant. You have to pay extra for the beach bed and umbrella. I will never go back again there.

Very friendly and helpful repectionist girl.Absoloutely the best location separated from the noisy and crowded "center of village". Be sure that your have packed all your toiletaries (because all you will find is a half(used) liquide soap and some papers) + cleaning/disenfection stuff (for the dusch head and toilet etc.) + long sleves pijamas (is not possible to use the...

We recently spent three nights there. We had two separate bungalows. On arriving one bungalow had no tv and the other TV was not functioning. Upon asking about this the answer was simply "no signal, not possible". We had neighbours though with functioning TVs. We are six people, but only 3-4 bed had been made, toilet paper had not been...

The only good thing was the location everything else was a huge disappointment. First of all we took 3 lodges. In 2 of them the A/C was not working and the tv was missing in one room. In the other 2 rooms there was a plasma TV but with no antenna so we couldn't see anything. The personel promised us...

We stayed at the Altea for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think just the area within which is sits is impossible to not love. If you head north along the beach, and you're up for an adventure, you can scramble over huge rocks along the coast to find really neat little nooks of beach to relax on or...

You can not beat the location. Crystal blue water and everything around is simple but very relaxing. The staff is very nice specially if you get to know them. We felt very safe considering we had little children with us. The food in Albania is absolutely amazing. You can go for a nice hike on the right side of Altea,...

It's with sadness that I have to write there is no match between what nature offers and the conditions and service your faced with. Staff is not professional at all, at some cases is rude and not helpful at all. It gives you the impression they are prisoners there and express their frustration to you but even this does not...

WOW what a great disappointment Altea Beach was! The waiters, or the friends of the owners who are helping around (or claim to), are the most arrogant persons you can find in Albania. They don't have time to serve you- however they will play all sorts of word games and at the end of a 30 minute conversation in which...

“Because reviews complained that the walls between adjoining cabins were thin, I asked for a cabin by itself. They gave me Cabin 18, at the south end of the cabins right next to the tent area. I thought at first that noise from the tent area might be an issue but it wasn't, and this was farthest from the restaurant and beach bar so no noise from there either.”

“ask if they will have any 'parties' at their beach bar, and if so - until what time the music will be blaring until . . . try to get a shack sharing only one wall with another party - otherwise you will be able to clearly hear the two parties on either side of you - every cough, sneeze, etc. . . .”
