We had a wonderful stay at Stella Naxos Island. It is conveniently placed midway between the small resort of Agia Ana and the bars and restaurants of Plaka beach and a 25 minutes bus ride from Naxos Town. It has a lovely Greek Taverna right next to it and it’s just 200 m from a supermarket and the place where you can buy bus tickets.
The hotel is in spacious landscaped grounds with a really nice swimming pool and pool bar. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
However the best thing about this place is the friendliness of mum Stella, daughter Marianne and the rest of the staff. We were offered a choice of rooms when we arrived. The breakfast comprises homegrown fruits, homemade pastries and jams as well as the other things you’d expect at a breakfast buffet.
The long sandy beach is just across the dirt track road and you can hire 2 sunbeds and umbrella for the day from €9-15. The sea is clear blue and gently sloping making it relatively safe to swim in.
In the evening you get wonderful sunsets behind the neighbouring island of Paros.
This is a place to which we would definitely return.

Just returned from 11 nights at the Stella Island. We had a double room on the 2nd floor which was very spacious and had a small kitchenette and balcony with sea views. The room was basic but functional and very clean. The hotel is in an amazing location, right on Plaka beach and close to tavernas and bars. The property is quite large with lovely gardens and a large pool with spacious sunbathing area with plenty of loungers. The breakfast was great, it included freshly made hot and cold food. The hotel staff are really friendly too.

Firstly the photos on here are out of date! the pool and other areas have been updated and have lovely big loungers. the apartments decor is a little old fashioned but value for money this hotel is fantastic! we had a 1st floor room, with 2 single beds, a small bathroom, and mini kitchen with fridge and sink (no cooking). air con great, balcony great. Lovely sea views. location amazing, with white sand, clear sea just meters from the hotel. Breakfast was delish with greek yogurt fruits cakes and hot options. They had taken extra care for covid which was great. supermarket, bars and restaurants on your door step.

We have just returned from Naxus after ten days at hotel Stella Agia Anna. We were heart broken to leave. The facilities, staff and beautiful Greek island beauty stole our hearts. So much so we are booking in next year. The quaint, chiq little hotel is nestled right near the white sandy beach with views of Pharus a neighbouring island. A fabulous pool and gardens host a pool side bar with delicious food and drinks. This hotel is a family run business and has been built 2 generations ago on a farm plot. Great Grandma still lives in Naxos Town and shares tales of the old days.
Watersports and stunning beachside restaurants spill out along the coastline with stunning views and at the headland heart is St Nicholas' Church where weddings and baptisms are held daily. A short walk from Stella and you are in Ianna and beach side bars and restaurants with sweeping coastal decor and shade. It's fashionable and tasteful jetty walk ways set amongst the wide range of eateries is classic, unique and memory making.
Stella is a short drive from the beautiful historic Naxus centre with its ancient Apollo's temple and gorgoeus Old Town which oozes history with its white old buildings and walkways.
The people are hard working and guarantee a service that cannot be matched elsewhere in Greece. I challenge the other islands to try and beat them as they have the customers at their heart of everything they do.

Stella Naxos Island was our first accomodation in our 9 day trip across Greece. After over 20+ hours in transit, and being jetlagged, we were greeted with such amazing people, who helped us with out luggage, gave us all the supplies we need and even provided amazing help for our future destinations.
We also ended up with an amazing seaside view of Plaka beach and an amazing sunset to go alongside with it. For the price that we paid, this blew our expectations.
Highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

For me, the best little hotel on Naxos, right on the plaza and between my two favorite taverns, Manolis and Paradiso.
Mrs. Stella and her daughter Marianna are incredibly attentive and very warm hosts, you immediately feel at home.
The greatest luxury here is that there is no unnecessary frills and the charm of a small guesthouse is still there; the rooms are always spotlessly clean, the breakfast is fantastic (thanks, Donna!), the garden is enchanting, I never used the very nice pool because the sea is just there?
I'm already looking forward to next year!

This is my favorite hotel in Naxos! I’ve been staying for many years with my family, and I cannot complain. This place is directly on the beach with the most beautiful view of the water. No need to get in a car to go to the beach, it is right there! Also the breakfast is very nice with tons of choices every morning!

Stayed here twice before. On arrival, Marianna said she rembered i was coelliac and had bought in some gluten free bread and flour. What a brilliant start. Made pizza specially for me one morning. All the staff throughout our stay were extremely pleasant and helpful and couldnt do enough for you. Thank you. We were even allowed to keep our room for a few hours on the day we left. Excellent hotel.

Stella Naxos was the perfect hotel for our family of four. We booked a one bedroom suite and it had everything we needed. The pool is amazing and had a kiddie pool as well. The breakfast is delicious! Easy to walk to many restaurants and a supermarket. The staff is very helpful and made our stay lovely. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel has a great location and wonderful staff. They are well prepared for the current pandemic situation, even though Greece has very few cases so far.
Comfortable rooms, nice pool and beach across the road!
