Hotel is beautifully located, and looks lovely from outside, plenty of parking, but somehow, it does not quite get it right. You have to go outside up a staircase which is a bit slippery to get to the rooms. Our room looked fine, but something quite strange these days, there was no television. We assumed that there would be a...

We had two rooms booked to show visiting family the area. The hotel rooms were fine and value for money. The meal in the pub was great and excellent value. When we arrived back that night however the door to our corridor was locked meaning the three of us plus another group were stuck locked out at midnight in the...

Plus points: • Great location – within minutes of the river and tow paths walk to Richmond/Ham House. Richmond Park is about 10-15 mins walk and the shops and views of Richmond Hill about 5-10 minutes. Well placed for 65 bus route between Kingston and Ealing which travels via Richmond. • Free car parking. • River views and looks over...

Had a table booked for 10 at the Rose of York last Sunday. Unfortunately, there was no table when we arrived. A table of 10 had just been sat and we were told that bookings are not taken. We were found tables and stools amongst other diners who were either moved or squashed up, but most probably like those other...

The room was a good size with lovely views of the river. The bathroom was a ok, the shower powerful although there was no hot water to the basin....

A lovely pub/hotel in a perfect location with car parking and a short stroll along the riverside to the town centre. Lovely welcome by a young lady who was very helpful. The bedroom was very comfortable and nice shower and tea and coffee facilities. Lovely bar area with log fire. Shame there was no background music, we were the only...

I booked this hotel on booking.com, I filled in a questionnaire that enabled me to pre book a vegetarian breakfast and arrange a check in time. On arrival I was early but my luggage was left in a room so I could explore by the river. My room was clean but basic. There was no shower gels in the bathroom...

Lovely traditional bed and breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the location is perfect for a stay in Richmond, only a short walk for Richmond Park. The service was very friendly and accommodating, they did everything they could to let us have an early check-in as we had to be ready for a wedding. Good full English breakfast as...
