Spent one night following the rugby international v Australia. Very good location and rooms OK albeit the bed was a bit on the hard side and pillows thin. Wise to book somewhere to eat as nothing on site and Richmond is very busy on a match day.
Booked for Saturday night following the Eng vs Aus game. Arrived at hotel @ 10 am to park the car thinking we wouldn’t be able to check in but to our delight we were able to! The chap on reception was super helpful and accommodating. Room was great as was location.
Plain, simple and very clean hotel, but with all mod cons and good WiFi. No bar and no mini-bar, but very close to local shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful and free parking is a bonus. I also got a free upgrade, which was really nice.
I needed to find a hotel in Richmond for 1 night stay a couple of weeks back and settled on the Richmond Inn Hotel. There didn't seem to be many hotels available except for more boutique ones (expensive!) or a Travelodge although I also looked in Chiswick and Brentford but really…
This is our second incursion at the Richmond Inn. Room size very comfortable, spotless, excelent bathroom and a, great location in Richmond terms; in summary excelent value for money . Staff is very attentive .
"avoid the basement"
"Room at rear perhaps"
"Ask for a room overlooking the back of the hotel. But there is double glazing and awesome air con so you will not hear any traffic noise."
"We were at the back, on the ground floor, lovely and cool and really quiet."
