The hotel is in need of some TLC. But it's comfortable, food is good and staff are excellent. Drinks prices are very reasonable. It is a bit of a walk from the town but bus stop outside and a taxi is £4.20. Would definitely go back

Recently stayed at this hotel and couldn't fault it from start to finish. On arrival check in was brilliantly organised with Covid regulations in place and from that moment on everything was great! The hotel itself is situated about 20 minutes walk from the town but it's a pleasant walk along the prom to get there. There is also a bus though if you don't fancy the walk. Our room was comfortable and we had no complaints....it was spacious, clean and the shower in the bathroom was powerful and hot. Wi-Fi was readily available too and worked perfectly. The restaurant was spaced out in accordance with Covid regulations and the food and service was excellent. Plenty of choice every night and then served efficiently.....the food was hot and tasty and certainly substantial! The restaurant has views of the cove and one night we had a glorious sunset.....added bonus while enjoying dinner!! Every member of staff we encountered were polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly return to this hotel.

We have just returned from a 5 day break at the hotel with Alfa Travel. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience. From the warm welcome to the covid procedures it was all excellent. Lovely comfortable room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. Great choice of meals in the dining room with good vegetarian /vegan options for me. The staff were all really friendly, helpful and efficient. We very rarely had to wait for our food. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean with plenty of hand sanitiser available everywhere. We didn't really use the bar but the table service we did receive from the barman was great. I can't comment on the entertainment because we chose not to stay in the hotel in the evenings. Altogether we are well satisfied with our first holiday with Alfa Travel and we look forward to enjoying many more. Many thanks to all concerned.

Receptionist - couldn’t be bothered. Room - extremely small and filthy (except bed linen seems clean) Tv - can’t get itv Food - can’t get food unless you ordered it before your stay The breakfast and staff in fairness was good and the staff chatty. Bar man - extremely rude. And this is from someone that writes fair reviews and gives the benefit of the doubt. STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.

the hotel itself was fine it goes badly wrong in the dining room. meal times meant nothing you could be waiting half an hour between courses the staff were like head less chickens no idea who was serving at which table then you would have one after the other asking what you wanted. then when you got the food it was not cooked right. we had raw egg, under cooked bacon and sausage cold beans it was bloody bad. the attitude of the staff was shocking the best thing about this hotel was going home. its a shame that alfa travel use this one the rest of the holiday was good we had great trips out it just that bloody dining room.
