My wife and I ate here at the weekend as we had seen some good reviews since the Inn had been renovated. There weren't many people there on this particular day, however the service was very good and welcoming. Food choice was good, and when it arrived (quickly) it was good & hot. Menu choice was good, with a few... More

An excellent stay at a lovely hotel. We arrived and were greeted by very helpful staff and shown to our room, which was cosy and had lovely decor. We had the prosecco afternoon tea which was very tasty( couldn't eat it all even tho I tried very hard) The bar had lots to offer and we were made to feel... More

We decided to stay at this inn due to an incredible deal being held on itison. We arrived about 6pm to a friendly welcome, the place is very easy to find as its on the main road. Pros - Wow, the breakfast knocked my socks off. For the price we paid I was not expecting such a good standard of... More

Stayed here for one night in the Dunottar room. Very friendly staff on check in, showed us to our room and booked us in for dinner. Our room had a private bathroom external to our room which we were aware of on booking. Only issue was no hot water for a bath so had a shower instead. Room had just... More

Hotel is in a fairly isolated location but worth the trip. It is an old building which has been upgraded to provide en suite facilities and therefore the layout of the rooms is sometimes not ideal. We occupied Inveraray for 2 nights. Room was quite small with room for a standard double bed and a single wardrobe at each side.... More

I spend too many nights in hotels for work and when I am paying myself am often apprehensive. Though the design of the building is unusual, it works, The room was excellent The food was good and was even better on the second evening as their chef was on duty instead of the commis chef of the first evening. I... More

Glad this is now open under new owners. Had an excellent lunch and look forward to seeing future progress. Worth a visit despite there only being two more people in. The folks were very friendly and anxious to improve.
