Travelers' Choice
The Clandeboye Lodge is out on its own. We do things differently. We’re all about people. We look after you. Properly. Our staff make the moment. Friendly, attentive, always happy to talk and advise, come and go, serve and smile. You’ll feel at home. We know it. When it comes to detail, we do it right. And, as we all know, the difference is in the detail. We’re out on our own. We like it that way. You will too. Coq and Bull. An unusual restaurant we think. Everyone seems at home. The old hand and young buck. Connoisseur and trencherman. The quiet diners and the in-with-a-crowders. Good, honest food. Taste is king and local rules. Wine, if not exactly compulsory, encouraged. And anyway, life’s too short not to. Don’t get us wrong. We love Belfast. It’s a city that is coming into its own. But why not stay out here with us? It’s not far. Then, when you do want to chill, you’re right here. A walk on the shore. A wander in the woods. A stroll through history.

Situated a few miles outside Bangor The Clandeboye Lodgel is a picturesque hotel set in well looked after grounds. The rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean, nice decor and a large comfortable bed and the heating system first class. If your in a deluxe room there is an early morning tea and coffee service to your room. Was disappointed with the cooked breakfast ,table service but small portions with only one of each item and tea and coffee lukewarm. Not everyone is on a diet in the mornings. Nevertheless a pleasant stay with great staff especially the receptionist who sorted out a little problem very efficiently.
