The Clandeboye Lodge is out on its own. We do things differently. We’re all about people. We look after you. Properly. Our staff make the moment. Friendly, attentive, always happy to talk and advise, come and go, serve and smile. You’ll feel at home. We know it. When it comes to detail, we do it right. And, as we all know, the difference is in the detail. We’re out on our own. We like it that way. You will too. Coq and Bull. An unusual restaurant we think. Everyone seems at home. The old hand and young buck. Connoisseur and trencherman. The quiet diners and the in-with-a-crowders. Good, honest food. Taste is king and local rules. Wine, if not exactly compulsory, encouraged. And anyway, life’s too short not to. Don’t get us wrong. We love Belfast. It’s a city that is coming into its own. But why not stay out here with us? It’s not far. Then, when you do want to chill, you’re right here. A walk on the shore. A wander in the woods. A stroll through history.

My son and new daughter in law chose The Clandeboye Ldge as the venue for their wedding reception and e evening reception. From day one, the hotel was helpful and welcoming. The bride's mum and myself visited the hotel and were shown around the different rooms to be used. On the day of the wedding everything was perfect. The room where the service took place was beautiful and very special and the decorations provided by the hotel added to this. Downstairs there were 2 areas and the young people were able to go out into the conservatory while the older generation sat on comfortable seats in the heat. The meal was on a high quality and everyone was served quickly. The room was big and comfortable for all. After the meal, the older generation were able to retire to the snug area away from the music while the main room filled up with the evening reception guests. The party finished late!! All in all, the whole day was perfect, facilitated by friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend The Clandeboye Lodge to anyone looking for an excellent wedding venue.

Very good. We were guests at a wedding which was very enjoyable. It was an opportunity to meet family we had not seen for a long time. The meal was well prepared and service was good. The premises were neat and tidy and well set out. Catered well for the variety of guests and their needs attending. First class service,

The hotel was nice and that’s about it. Pros Great service and very friendly staff, cons only one menu for lunch and dinner, nowhere on the grounds to go for a walk so need a car if visiting, no communal areas to socialise there is a bar but it’s right in the foyer so not ideal lack of overall amenities . Nice stay for a wedding/even for convenience but not great for a trip away if you want to enjoy a hotel

I enjoy the 'country' feeling of being on the Estate and yet so close to Belfast and Bangor. I like the warm atmosphere of a friendly, not too large, efficiently run hotel. I was comfortable in my room and enjoyed my breakfasts.

I stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever been to. I am disabled and had a huge accessible bedroom and bathroom. Absolutely perfect luxury accommodation. I also ate in the restaurant one night and had an excellent meal. Throughout my stay tge staff were all helpful and friendly. As a wedding venue, it was 5* and nothing was too much trouble. Again meal was excellent. Would highly recommend the Clandeboye Lodge! Just one little suggestion - would you consider putting automatic door opening buttons on front doors and double doors to bedroom corridors? Would be easier for wheelchair/mobility scooter users!

I lost my luggage and I was upset when I arrived at the Lodge reception to check in. Sara who worked that evening was thoughtful and lent me warm and clean clothes. It warmed my heart and for a while I forgot about my missing bag. Maggie who on Su day and still no bag helped me to trace it and made a few calls to ensure they deliver it . Sara and Maggie made my stay incredible despite everything and made me feel at home. Big thank you to both and I look forward to my next visit. All others worki g in the restuarant were very nice and helpful.

We held my daughters wedding reception at this hotel yesterday. From the minute we arrived Graeme and his team catered to our every need. The venue was superb, the food was superb and the gardens were stunning for photographs. We booked quite a few rooms for the guests and everyone commented on the quality of the suites. Breakfast the next morning was lovely also. I cannot rate this hotel high enough and would encourage anyone thinking of hosting their wedding at this venue to book it at their earliest convenience to avoid disappointment. It is also on a superb location to stay for a long break or use as a base to visit the sites of Northern Ireland. Thanks once again to Graeme and his team for making the day a huge success.
