The hotel has been renovated throughout making the rooms even more comfortable than before and that is a great achievement. The contrast affect with the hotels I stayed in at Paris, Lyon in France and at Llangollen in Wales is striking. From the comfort of the beds, the space, the decor and the bathroom, the Clandeboye Lodge comes out head... More

We had another lovely stay at The Clandeboye. We have stayed several times and enjoy the quiet setting of the hotel and the views over trees and fields from the window which really helps us unwind. There had been a wedding on but we still found the hotel to be very quiet at night time so we had the great... More

I stayed here several times for a series of meetings that I booked one of the conference rooms for. The staff were without exception very friendly and helpful, and really wanted everything to be right for us. The service and food for the meetings was top notch. The hotel is a little in the middle of nowhere, so if you... More

We stayed 3 nights here and it was all very enjoyable. Good breakfasts, and good evening meals, if a little pricey. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Huge lovely bed, and modern clean bathroom. In fact everything was spotless. We had a very quiet room at the back overlooking fields, but other guests at the front complained of noise from the... More

Recently attended a wedding here which included an overnight stay. Lovely hotel, good location, great for a wedding, the food at the reception was of a high standard, the staff, a lot of whom were young, were all excellent. Bar prices are high, even by hotel standards, the cooked breakfast could be better. No hot water at all in the... More

Excellent staff and accommodation .the weekend break is good value. the only problem we had was the main courses on the evening meal . The currying lacked curry and the cod was retired rather than rested, starters and sweet superb. The breakfast is excellently , but talk numbers if you ask for sausage you get a sausage, if you ask... More
