We chose Ennislare Guest House as an alternative to staying in Belfast and we were not disappointed. We had a large, clean and comfortable family room in the front of the building with a great view of the city. The location was perfect for walking to the city centre for supper and ice cream cones. The train station is within walking... More

The carpet was dirty, old and never hovered the whole time we where there. 2 out of the 3 breakfasts we had, the yogurts where out of date. The shower was so weak you could barely wash and the wifi was terrible. These tiny details do effect your comfort and there is better in Bangor than this..

My Wife and I have just spent 2 very pleasant nights at Ennislare Guest House, the first stop on our Irish holiday. Our room and bathroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was simply excellent! For anyone wanting to visit Belfast, the railway station is just a five minute walk from the guest house, there is a regular inexpensive... More

We have stayed here 3 times now and always get a lovely welcome. The breakfast is amazing and Anne always gives us what we ask for eg : beans. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. And we are aways made to feel like we are at home. It is not far from the train station and taxis are cheap if... More

The Ennislare House was a great experience. The location was just a short walk from the Bangor city centre. We had to park on the road however because the front car park was full. The walk was no problem though. The room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We were able to use the computer there as well... More

My son and I stayed in Ennislare in March. The guesthouse is situated within easy walking distance of the Main Street, the sea and all amenities. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house itself is very special and majestic with clean, well equipped and comfortable rooms...everything has been thought of. Breakfast was cooked to order... More

At Ennislare we stayed on the top floor in a triple room for 2 nights. Beware of carrying heavy luggage up to the top floor. The room was small for 3 people, but everything was thoughtfully placed. There was ample storage for clothes, there were plenty of plugs, and even a mirror for us girls getting ready. The linens were... More

We stayed in Ennislare for 3 nights. Warmly welcomed by our host Anne. Room was clean and comfortable with lots of character. Delicious homemade breakfast. Fabulous views of the Marina. Would definitely stay here again.

This b&b is in a great location close to the marina. There is a car park at the front suitable for maybe 5 cars but we parked our hire car easily. Check in was very easy and the lady that greeted us was very welcoming and showed us to our room, number 10. Our room was in the loft and... More
