This grand hotel was built around 1890 I would think. Many thousands of pounds have been spent refurbishing and extending all the lounges and adding an extra floor. We were warmly welcomed at reception when we arrived and processed quickly. Our room was on the third floor, with a sea view and an outside balcony with a table and chairs.... More

Celebrated my partner's mum 70th birthday there. 18 of us had lunch and spent the afternoon until evening altogether in the Adult Lounge reserved for us. The staff were very discreet but there to cater for all our needs. The food was excellent and they even cater for the picky eaters amongst us. Some of us took a nice walk... More

Just returned from the Trefeddian and we were very impressed with every aspect of the hotel! The management clearly place a strong emphasis on the standard of their service and we found the staff totally professional, customer focused and attentive in every detail. Food was excellent and standard of the rooms delightful. Having spoken to a number of the guests,... More

My husband and I visited this hotel for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. We were not staying here. The hotel is in an enviable position with wonderful views of the sea. The decor and furnishings are very good and the service impeccable. However ......... the lunch was a big disappointment. Firstly the cutlery has all seen better days.... More

This is our second stay here at the Trefeddian and it has lived up to all our expectations. Having just got married we decided we wanted to spend our honeymoon here and have loved every minute. The superior rooms on the 4th floor are just that. Spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated with amazing views towards the sea. There are plenty of... More

Good size rooms and fabulous views - nice grounds and dog friendly! small but pleasant pool with a sun terrace. We went when it was very hot and the room was south facing so very warm. Could have done with air conditioning -but that doesn't happen very much in the UK!! Provided with a fan which helped. Staff were lovely... More

We haven't stayed at this hotel but have dined here many times. On a sunny day it's a great place to eat a light lunch outside overlooking the golf course and estuary. On this occasion we booked an evening meal with friends. I enjoy visiting the Trefeddian because there is a style and charm about the place and the food... More

Simple stay in a quiet hotel with great service and everything needed for a reasonable price. I do suggest the top floor which is refurbished to a good standard and has great views over the estuary. It's worth every pound in additional value to take one of the rooms on that floor. It's a great place to go and relax... More
