Entrance is great, car park leave a bit to be desired, more of a building site unfinished feel. rooms are large enough and are in keeping with the property, but tiered inside, shower broken and extractor not working, so mirrors are out of action for a while with steam. condensation on the walls etc. it's August, not sure how much... We spent 2 days at this hotel and found the staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bridal suite as it was a late booking and that was the only room available. Unfortunately the four poster bed squeaked each time you moved so sleep disturbed. Breakfast very nice and cooked fresh, made a change from the usual buffet... More

We came here to celebrate my fiancé's birthday having come across the hotel with great groupon food reviews. We were not disappointed. Our King room was a beautifully decorated suite (room 8). It was spacious, well equipped and boasted a beautiful design which complemented the history of the house. The little staircases between rooms were classic and perfectly fitting. This... More

Was looking forward to staying here after seeing reviews on Tripadvisor. Looked beautiful. And on first impressions it looked fantastic. Beautiful driveway and gardens. Ivy overed manor house. Then drove round to the car park. Mmmm. Bit of a tip. Photos attached. Inside it was old fashioned but quaint. My room was a bit odd. Seemed like a mismatch of... More

Normally a evening meal venue , which always has been a great experience. Decided to give the mid week Lunch time carvery a go. Great experience with the main course being Roast Beef or Gammon Joint, my choice was the roast beef and Yorkshire puds which was excellent and plentiful portions. Lovely fresh vegetables to choose from , piping hot... More

We got married here last month. It's a beautiful hotel, perfect for weddings. Food was beautiful - so I heard, I didn't manage to get any myself. Was a little disappointed we couldn't have breakfast delivered to our room. Have stayed here a few times previously, the rooms are all lovely, beds very comfy. I've always been disappointed with the... More
