The small single room with en suite was perfect for my needs and very good value especially as it included breakfast, which was freshly cooked and excellent. Well maintained clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff, I recommend it to anyone visiting Hartlepool.

One of the finest places to eat if anyone visits Hartlepool. Every product fresh and you definitely wont leave Hungry. One of the little hidden gems. Shhh! keep it to yourself. They were very friendly and helpful when booking a table on spec.

I stayed at the Douglas Hotel on 7/3/17. It was booked last minute so got a good rate £35.00. B&B. When I arrived I was told I'd been upgraded to a double room which was a nice surprise after a long day at work. When I asked about the parking the Managers/owners gave me a residents pass for the street...

This hotel is well below par in almost every repect. Their website specifies "parking" but there is none. There is no car park and all the surrounding streets have yellow lines so be prepared to get up early to move your car! We stayed in a "superior double" room which was on the third floor and very small. The bed...

The bathroom was immaculately clean and the shower was warm and powerful. Breakfast was one of the best I have had at a UK hotel, it was...

Hotel is near the city center and easy to reach by foot. Excellent food and service. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Matrasses are on the soft side for me personally, but still really comfortable.

The hotel is a short walk from the town centre, the room was clean and comfy with all you needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice and the food in the on site restaurant was very tasty
