Owner Naz was very helpful with everything we needed. rooms were a decent size and breakfast was better than expected. The inside was clean and tidy however like other reviews, there was a certain smell about the lobby but this didnt appear to be in any rooms. Over all tthe bill was £120 for 2 nights and just for location,... More

Ok sure, this isn't the Hilton (but the price isn't either). But our family room was clean, white linnen, bathroom good (and the shower well fixed), staff helpfull, parking free and wifi too. Even a cooked breakfast in the morning included. So is it just our room which is the exception (given the many (very) critical reviews)? I don't know.... More

I was booked into this hotel on business by my company, and before I arrived I had read other peoples experience and was expecting the worse. However I am happy to say that my 2 night experience was a good one. I found the staff extremely helpful and friendly, my hotel room clean and bright, free parking and wifi and... More

Avoid like the plague absolutely disgusting wouldn't let my animals sleep in there, distinct smell of marijuana being smoked as the back fire escape was wedged open, told the manager who said " don't worry I will sort it out as I'm stood there with a ten and 8 year old child, beds were filthy all the sheets brown around... Fantastic location, (1 min walk to station) friendly, flexible staff, nice rooms, comfortable bed. Would highly recommend, especially for the price. Wifi is very good and free, it's an all-round lovely hotel.

I didn't even get near the place, booked and then had to cancel immediately as I had the wrong date. The owner didn't care and certainly wasn't going to give me my money back. Charged me the full amount and just kept blaming 'the system' as to why he couldn't refund the money. Now I've seen all the other reviews... More

Green mould, layers of dust, poo on the walls, pubes everywhere, snot on the sheets, creatures on the ceiling building was almost falling apart. The small indian man at the desk is the rudest bloke ive ever met refused to... More

I stayed at the hotel last night. I think I struck lucky and had a room that was fairly clean, with clean sheets and a working shower!! The owner was not rude to me either. But the smell when you went in was not great and the hotel was not at all what I was expecting from its website. It... More

Location great, but hotel entrance had damp, musty smell.Quality of en suite in our twin bed room abysmal.Shower tiles were mouldy and the dirty plug hole drained so inefficiently that flooding was a real possibility. Stained toilet bowl, hopefully limescale? Fire alarm went off at about 1 am, on investigation we were told by night manager that someone must be... More

Bad management running the place. Think the room we stopped in had fleas as we spent all night itching. The shower turned ice cold as I used it then red hot. We asked for more milk were told that they had given us what we were entitled to which was 2 tiny cartons enough for 1 drink. 2 of us... More
