Not happy at all. Old beer. Guiness awful. Apperantly it's for sale. It shows. The building is sure old and has great architecture. It's a shame that the beer is so bad. I didn't even drink my half. I hope the new owners bring it back to a beautiful pub.... As it should be

As soon as we stepped in, we were baffled as kids who looked younger than 16 were being served all sorts at the bar, the staff didn't...

We visited this pub while having a short break in Morecambe. Very pleased we did. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was more than adequate for pub grub and we took part in the quiz, which was highly entertaining. Cannot comment on accommodation as we were staying elsewhere.

Its a pub that has bedrooms, just bear that in mind and you will be ok. This is not the Dorchester, but as a bolthole for two crusty old gits it was fine. That being said there were a few problems 1. No t.v. in the room until the last night. 2. The shower was broken, as was the kettle....

Very pleasantly surprised with a very warm welcome, rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast excellent. Could not fault value for money and will certainly use again but not a place...
