Whoever said this was a 'luxury'...'boutique' hotel is totally wide of the mark...it's just a 'standard' at best b and b that is nowhere near the £150 I paid for 2 nights...we were 'put' in an annexe despite the main hotel not being fully occupied. First day we come down for breakfast we were informed there was no toast available... More

My friend and I booked a large suite with a sea view which was 100 pounds, and that price for 1 night was ok. I got a call but couldn't reply straight away, so called back soon and the response I had was really rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately when we arrived we got a completely different room with a bit... More

We stayed in room 7 at the top of three flights of stairs, it was a family room so slept 4. The rooms were tidy, we had clean towel and tea making facilities. We had lovely walks along the pier and were very close to the Eric Morecombe statue and the beach. All in all it was a good weekend,... More

We stayed here for one night in a two bed appartment. Spacious, clean and lovely sea view. Fully fitted kitchen with plenty of crockery. Apartments are situated over the road from the hotel, check in is at the hotel reception then they will take you over the road and show you in. Only quibble is they were short staffed so... More

I stayed at the Crown over the weekend for a walk across Morecambe Bay. The hotel has been recently modernised and has overcome it's limitations of being an old hotel on the seafront from Victorian times, People have to realise that structurally there are going to be stairs and the corridors narrow as it was built two centuries ago! My... More

My wife and I stayed for one night whilst visiting friends. The hotel was a bit tired and dingy but seemed okay. Our room was large and comfortable with great views over the sea which was great. The disappointment came at breakfast, with customer service that can only be described as appalling. The waitresses treated us with a casual disregard,... More

Firstly, the advertised free parking does not exist I had to keep topping up a pay and display to be able to park. The hotel didn't take any details from us at arrival, not even names, we could have been anyone! We were then taken to a separate building, they've obviously expanded and taken some rooms across the road, I... More

We stayed in the two bed apartment which is part of the Hotel but across the road from it. It was ideal for our family of four to prepare for a nearby wedding and we had a very pleasant stay. We even had a good diagonal view of the famous Eric Morecambe statue and fantastic view across Morecambe bay.

How this 'hotel' has 4 stars is beyond me, I can only imagine the owner has created hundreds of accounts to get a good rating!! Firstly, they are falsely advertising free Wi-Fi, free parking and a lounge/bar. When we arrived, we asked a scruffy looking gentleman who worked in the hotel where the 'free car park' was, he proceeded to... More

this hotel had some good reviews but i and my wife were not really fussed after our stay there ,rooms were adequate they were clean, if you are staying with a breakfast involved expect a long wait ,to be served and then getting your breakfast .
