In all fairness the breakfast was edible and the host was a very nice man so an extra star for that. The room however was a tiny box with a single bed with a creaky metal frame. The shower had mold in it and the floor was filthy with dust and cobwebs. The carpet had a significant rip in it...

This is a welcoming and friendly guest house. Although its down at the quiet southern end of the front its not too far too walk before your in the center. Rooms have anything you need food they only do breakfast but lots of good food can be found around the town would recommend a stay here.

We stayed at the Westleigh on 30th July for two nights. We have stayed there before and have always found it good value.the staff are very helpful. We had a great sea view but there were a lot of stairs , luckily that didn't bother me but my knees did ache a bit. The room itself was clean and comfortable...

We stayed here for a relaxing weekend break. Although the hotel is a little dated it was very clean. The owner and staff were really nice and friendly. The breakfast is really good. Would stay here again.

A classic seaside hotel from the era past. Not in the best condition, but the personnel were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was personalised and good, (even the coffee) the Wifi worked in all rooms (at least our two). The place had definitely seen grander days, but it was reasonably well kept and clean. Location is good on the...

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed here on Saturday 11th June the purpose being a stop over after visiting the lakes. Like the rest of Morceambe the place is tired and in need of investment. Located in the West end which although very quiet there is a constant stream of traffic all night. The room had a very...

The Westleigh was disappointing as it appears to be of the old school B & B but not in a good way. The décor was depressing and the only high spots were the breakfast and the sea view. The furniture seemed to be all cheap flimsy flatpack, including the bed which did not feel solid apart from the mattress. It...

Started coast to coast bike ride from here. Welcoming hosts. Very tidy and clean with hearty breakfast. Comfy beds and good showers. Good bar just down the front - Davy Jones locker. Amazing views across the bay. Also has good bike storage, dry and safe.

We just completed the Way of the Roses Cycle ride staying at 4 B&Bs on the route and this was the worst of the four. The welcome we received was a little austere. The rooms and hotel in general were in need of redecoration. Similarly it the towels seemed to date from the 1970s. The facilities in the room were...
