A delightful house in a wonderful setting. The bedroom was well equipped, light, comfortable and spacious with comfortable bed. Two large day rooms are available for guests: one quiet room with a huge selection of books and a TV room with large TV. A great selection available for breakfast and beautifully prepared. Hosts Ian and Linda could not have been... More

We have been visiting Sevenford House in Rosedale Abbey for the last 8 years. We have always been warmly welcomed by Linda and Ian. The location and surrounding area is beautiful, a perfect location for visiting the Yorkshire Moors. We have stayed in both the main house and The Coach House. Breakfast is always superb!

Sevenford House continues the be one of our favourite properties to stay at when touring North Yorkshire, only this time we saw the experience from a new perspective, in that we stayed in the lovely Coach House, across the drive from the main house. The Coach House is generously appointed with a fully equipped kitchen area, dining room, lounge, multiple... More

Tucked away into Rosedale Abbey, the valley that time forgot, and nestled in between the high moors, this place is well worth staying in if you are touring the North York Moors or coast. The house itself is comfortable and gracious, the hosts are kind and unobtrusive, and the breakfast is fabulous (the fruit salad in particular). There is a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, but would have liked to have stayed longer. This is a fantastic house, with excellent décor and lovely welcoming hosts (Linda and Ian) who will really look after you. Location: In the middle of the North York Moors, where you can escape and relax, very quiet. There are lovely views over the moors from the... More

Such a wonderful place to stay. A warm and friendly welcomes you with a cup of tea and cake on arrival- a lovely gesture after a drive. Nothing is too much for this couple. A great breakfast with their own free range eggs will set you up for the day.

What a wonderful place for a romantic getaway: stunning scenery; beautiful B&B and astounding service! The breakfast was fabulous, as was the complementary homemade chocolate cake which we were offered on arrival. We couldn't have been happier. Actually, yes we could... we could have stayed longer!

This is the way B&B should be! Friendly, relaxed and homely. Beautiful house - large rooms and guest lounges, great on suite bathrooms and impressive library of books, information and photographs. The garden is wonderful - chickens, bees, splendid beech, lawns, and even a horse! Congratulations Linda and Ian! You were the best we experienced in the UK... We will... More

we stopped here near the end of the coast to coast walk. this is a fine house offering generous and warm hospitality. We liked the village as well, and it would be a splendid base for the North York Moors, with many attractive walks nearby. definitely recommend.

Nestled in the North York Moors is a most delightful guest house. Ian and Linda had housed us in the cottage house which had been converted from a barn. A lovely sitting room warmed by the fireplace with very comfortable sofas, it was the welcoming place to retire after exploring the surrounding villages in the summer chill! (averaging 10 °C)....
