I have been going to Forest Holidays Cabins at Keldy since I was a very young child so I have seen them grow over the years. Despite the changes it is still one of my all time favourite places to visit. If you want a holiday with no baggage restrictions then this is the place for you! There is just...

Spent 4 nights in the gold leaf cabin, well equipped and very comfortable. Log burner and hot tub just finished it off for us. Took the dogs and used as a base to walk in the moors and local woods. Fantastic location, food was really good in the retreat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to...

Stayed in a silver birch cabin for 3 nights, the cabin was brilliant, really clean and toasty warm, beautiful hot tub we stayed in cabin 26 it was slightly into the woods so the hot tub was a bit more private. Will definitely be staying again as we had the perfect weekend. We took our own food and cooked in...

The cabins are a few miles from the market town of Pickering. The nearest village is Cropton (which has its own brewery) and the Forest Holidays site is signposted well from there with brown tourist signs. Be aware, when driving, that the Forest Holidays Cropton Cabins are quite close by so make sure you choose the right sign! If you...

My son paid for the mid week stay for our anniversary. We have 4 dogs so it was great we could take them although I think the 160 charge is a little steep especially since non of them shed hair. The lodge was very warm and well equipped. Only downside the 2 small sofas are not comfortable for lounging on....

£560 for 3 nights in a golden cabin. It was lovely but terrible value for money. Luxury cabin with wood burner, only your provided with 2 logs! Of course you can buy some more at another rip off price. You can select your cabin, but that costs more. Surely these things should be included at the rates being charged. There...

This was our third visit to the same cabin. Some cabins seem very overlooked so I would always recommend paying the money to enable you to pick your cabin, as we go as a couple we want privacy. Nice and clean, not dusty as some report. Some dishes needed re washing though. The sofa isn't a lounging sofa but we...

Having thoroughly enjoyed a mid week get away last year at the Blackwood Forest in Hampshire we thought we'd travel further afield this year. After 13hrs travelling we arrived at the very end of the check in time. Staff had called us prior to tell us what to do if we were going to late. We got there. Lovely helpful...
