Visited here with family group for 25th Wedding anniversary meal. The place itself is quite posh like and was full with guests on our arrival however the food service was very quick and staff were helpful and very professional. The food was of good quality and portions were fairly large not too al a carte and the price quite reasonable... More

Nice old building, rooms excellent, upstairs room in the barn is best. Good food and bar facilities. Nice gardens. there was a wedding there whilst I was staying but it did not interfere with main hotel. Staff very friendly and attentive

Stopped overnight, rooms were of excellent quality and lovely quiet location. Although we did not make use of restaurant or other facilities, everything seemed to be high standard and would definitely stay there again

Attended a wedding, stayed 2 Nights. Beautiful setting , very much helped by the weather. Bedrooms are a bit dated and could do with improving, but we weren't there to stay in the rooms. Couple of problems with food in the restaurant, but dealt with well by the staff. Would stay again if in the area.

We came for my Mums Birthday for afternoon tea last weekend. It was on Saturday and there was a wedding on at the time. Despite this and the fact that the staff must have been very busy the service was excellent. We had a small selection of sandwiches, one egg, one smoked salmon and one cucumber. Although we initially thought... More

Tired looking marquee. Drapery could do with adjusting and in places cleaning. Tables laid confusingly for dinner. Knife fork spoon, wine glass. Buffet table for the tea. Seperate table for tea and coffee, neither of which were very hot. They were in plastic flask like pots. Nice finger sandwiches. Cakes were an odd assortment of tiny bought in petit four,... More

The hotel is situated up a long single track access road lined by bracken and pasture. There is ample parking and it is possible to park very near the rooms, some of which are located in the main building and some in the Old Coach House nearby. The parking area is well away from the nearest main road and is... More

After being extremely impressed after attending a wedding in May we decided to revisit this venue, for Father's Day. Eight of us thoroughly enjoyed the relax atmosphere, extensive choice at the continental breakfast bar that included patisserie items, yoghurt, cheeses, cerals, breads and the hot Full Welsh Breakfasts, ( menu on their web site). The staff were faultless and added to... More

We booked three nights here for a visit to family and ended up staying an extra night because we liked it so much. The hotel is on the top of a small mountain with lovely views all around. We loved the rooms which were cosy and comfortable, and we had breakfast and dinner every day in the hotel. The food... More
