A gem of a B&B. Superb value, very comfortable and breakfast is excellent. Located in a lovely quiet street but only a few minutes walk into the city centre. Donald and Carol are lovely hosts so if you are looking to stay in Stirling give it a try you will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10 !!!
What an amazing place to stay. Carol and Donald are superb hosts who run an excellent B and B. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed and a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was scrumptious with a very large selection of items to choose from. A short walk to town takes you to a number of restaurants- the menus in the room were very helpful in deciding where to eat. The castle is also within walking distance. We would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Stirling.
My partner and I stayed here just one night, but really enjoyed the place. Donald Cameron, the man of the house, greeted us upon arrival, showed us the room, and explained everything we needed to know. The "Cameron Room", one flight up, was spacious and comfortable. The 14 foot ceilings made the room feel majestic! The bathroom was quite large, and the walk in shower was massive. We filled out our breakfast card order the night before and were greeted to a delicious Scottish Fry up. The porridge is so good too. The previous evening we walked through the neighborhood to town and had beers and a pizza at Brewdog (which has great beer!) This may have been one of the best B&B's on our trip. Just wish we could have stayed another night. Slept great!
Unfortunately we only could stay here 1 night. Donald and Carol were the perfect hosts- charming and helpful. They are well organized and ready to offer recommendations for restaurants, etc. The breakfast was the best of all the placed we stayed at. The bed was very comfortable and the place was spotless, grounds well cared for. We enjoyed their knowledge of the area.
We had a very nice visit with Donald and Carol. The house is very charming and the rooms were big. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows in our two week trip around Scotland. The B&B is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking and walking distance to the downtown area and train station. You have to pay to park on the street but it was only around 3 pounds for the entire day and there were plenty of spaces. Carol also made the best breakfast we had in Scotland and all hot foods were served on warmed up plates to keep them hot. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Stirling.
