The owner was not interested in making his guests feel welcome. He did not introduce himself nor did he put on a light; It was dark when we arrived and there was no working outside light. He made no effort to answer queries about local services. Free wifi in all areas is

The outside light had failed that day and has since been replaced I dont remember being asked about local services. WIFI hardware was replaced in July and was functioning OK - occasionally the router requires resetting (as do alll routers) and I did this for you. Iphones and Ipads for some reason require me to review my personal settings which will allow access to my personal computer. I said I was not prepared to do this. The code in the book is correct - it has worked fine for the last 7 years.

We had booked to stay at this bed and breakfast for one night whilst I was working in blackpool. The site we used to book stated that the blackpool tower was 11 miles away from the bnb. I went ahead with the booking as it was close enough for us. When I arrived in blackpool to

WOW!!! I am amazed that I can be blamed for something over which I have no control. I do not have any control over third party booking sites. Despite your comments I was not rude to you and made arrangements for you to arrive at 12.30am, when we are guest house not a 24/7 hotel. When you rang to say that you could not make this time I asked what time will you arrive - you responded with " I don't know" - if you don't know how on earth do I know - should I sit up all night on the off chance you might arrive !! You then chose to hang up the phone. Had you arrived and rang the bell I would have got up and accommodated you - It was you who chose not to come. Your gripe is with Booking.com NOT ME. You did not turn up which leaves me no option but to flag it as a NO SHOW. Your choice not mine. I suggest next time you book a place more convenient to your place of work and go directly to the guest house site where you are likely to get better information.

Stayed here Sept 2017, arrived at the B&B, rang the door bell at least 6 times with no response, eventually the owner (well presume he was the owner, he never introduced himself) answered the door, I said to him I didn't think there was anyone in, he said why is that, I said I

The room you stayed in is not a converted attic - The house was built in 1862. I can assure you breakfast ingredients are not "cheap stuff" - food is grilled !!! We have maintained a 4 star rating for the past 11 years. If you were not happy I will get the duster out.

To be honest, you get what you pay for no matter where you go. We chose this hotel because to be honest it was one of the lower costing hotels. On arrival, we were greeted by the owner. He did not Introduce himself which I was rather surprised at. We stayed in room 3 for 4

The first thing I do when I visit a hotel is review the guest information - The WIFI code is in the book. Had you asked me about it I would have guided you to it. The property is 150 years old and you can expect some variation in floor levels over this period. The furniture is appropriate for the style of house and includes a modern 2-seater leather sofa. You must have gone round it with a magnifying glass. You came to us on a discounted deal and for a 4 day holiday break in Southport all depends on your own agenda. If you run out of things do during your stay just blame the owner.

We were booked to stay here as overflow from another hotel. The owner was rude to us during check in. This should have been an indication. We were told that if we needed anything to knock on the door. No one answered. Wifi was marginal. This was after we made repeated

See previous responses - this catastrophe is all to do with the Dukes Folly Hotel not assessing the needs of their customer and more importantly not telling them where they were staying. Hot water was Hot - WIFI worked - new hardware installed during July for OPen Golf (who by the way 12 guests never complained about anything. Guest response when leaving was "we really wanted somewhere to hang out" - not mention of Hot water or WIFI. If I am not informed I can't respond - And Dukes FOlly gave them a refund - it was their stuff up
