Really bad advertising, the hotel looks nothing like the picture they portray. The room was small and shabby, no glasses in the bathroom to wash your mouth, the shower door would not close so the water flooded the bathroom, I had to put towels on the floor to soak up the water. This was like a cheap bed and breakfast... More

The hotel room was clean and quiet at night. Decor is a little dated in areas but you can see that some redecoration has taken place to make rooms neutral. The hotel is in a good location with just a short walk to Lord Street or the beach and front rooms have good views of the park across the road.... More

If you are expecting a modern crowne plaza type hotel then look elsewhere. If you want a convenient b&b close to all amenities overlooking the promenade that is value for money- then this place is fine. Yes the hotel is dated, but for £45 for a delux room this was cheap. Crucially the room was clean, bedding, towels etc nice.... More

Booked this for a family treat for the air show, cost £350 for 3 rooms but 2 were suppose to be deluxe doubles so didn't mind, what a surprise when we arrived, they weren't even deluxe in a 2 star hotel!!!!! Very run down, rooms were very dusty and even dirty in parts, showers in all our rooms leaked, windows... More

Having visited several establishments for afternoon tea I found this to be very low quality and the service was not what I'd expect. I found a hair in my 'bubbly' and was told it was from a strawberry ! The sandwich fillings, the cake and cream tea used ingredients I would not have expected in a restaurant, inexpensive mixed fruit... More
