Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Good no frills hotel and value for money. Served its purpose. Room was clean , bed very comfortable, room warm. Grade ll listed building so they are limited in what they can do with rooms and the building. Friendly staff.

Host very welcoming, and room rate very reasonable. We had room no4 which being next to the night door was very noisy with people coming and going. The room was OK, quite tatty needs updating a lot but the bed was very comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, like really really beautiful and...

Stayed here on a very cold and windy january night. Room was freezing cold we asked for a heater but never recieved one. To be fair the heating was on but the drafty windows got rid of any warmth straight away. Room was clean but dated had everything you could need (except extra heaters) breakfast was lovely. Just a shame...

Generous family room, with separate adjoined bedroom for the children. Great sea views and excellently located for all of the attractions. Friendly welcome and check-in. Decor and furnishings a little dated but clean. Would stay here again as good value for money.

I booked a room with a poster bed for one night, as a short post Xmas/new year break for my husband and I. On arrival was told that the four poster room we had booked was not available but we were being put in the deluxe room which we were told was 'a much better room!' The room did have...

The welcome at reception was lovely and they let me check in earlier. Gave me room 12 on the ground floor next to the front door. Bad start, I had a terrible nights sleep, as the external door was very heavy and people coming and going all night and the door slamming constantly. The bathroom was tiny and the sink...

Four stars! Maybe seen after a bang to the head We arrived at the hotel on Thursday expecting to find a well maintained hotel that looked something like advertised.. The photos advertising this place may have been accurate 10 years ago but are nothing like what we arrived at. The only positive thing about this hotel is it's location on...

We stayed overnight here in December. The rooms and hotel are a little tired but very clean and the beds comfortable. Our room overlooked the front and was quite spacious and even had a sort of self catering unit in ( hob fridge sink kettle etc. ). The receptionist was lovely and friendly and the chef was pleasant and cooked...

On entering the hotel it was very warm but the entrance stairways had a strong smell of sick . This was there the whole weekend. The car park is very tiny and...
