I took my 79yr old mother for a long weekend. I had seen this hotel on an earlier visit to Tenby and thought the location was ideal, short flat walk into the square. The hotel is mainly geared up for Shearings customers and I would say older generation. No hen/stag parties, Or kids, which was ideal for this weekend. The... More

I have just returned from a 5 day holiday with Shearings staying at the Imperial hotel. The views from my bedroom, the restaurant and verandah were amazing as the hotel sits on the edge of the sea.The staff did all they could to make our stay the best. Special mention should be made to the chef.My friend who was travelling... More

This was my first visit to Tenby. The Imperial is situated in a wonderful position with amazing sea views. We had a room with sea view and a door that led out onto the terrace. The only thing that really didn't give this hotel a good star rating was the cleanliness in the toilets, they were really in a poor... More

I had a lovely room with a bay window overlooking the sea. The hotel is kind of incorporated into the remains of a cliffside castle. Looking out the bay window you could see the towers of the castle that still stand proudly.

For the last two decades, when visiting Tenby we will call into the Imperial for coffee or G&Ts on their terrace. A lovely sunny spot with a superb view to Caldey and St Catherine's islands. Friendly and attentive service.

The hotel is very nice with excellent and helpful staff at the reception especially. The hotel is situated directly overlooking the beautiful sea at Tenby with stunning views to Caldey and St Catherine's islands. The breakfast was buffet style with everything you would want. There is entertainment a few nights a week which was very good. We had a premier... More

Arrived for a 1 night stay. First impression was a dire need for painting and carpet replacement. Was given a so call upgraded room. The room had a sea view leading on to the main balcony which had fabulous views of Caldey Island but the curtains and nets were in need of replacement and the widows were covered in water... More

Beautiful location of this hotel is the best part, and of course the very friendly attentive staff. The building is in terrible need of refurbishment. Very grubby and tatty in parts. Only one lift for four floors. The heat in the restaurant was very uncomfortable and spoilt my meals, there were plenty of Windows that could be opened, but on... More

Excellent service. We were unable to fault the attentive staff. The restaurant overhanging the cliff had to be classed as superb. Well done to all concerned. Our room was large and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. Tenby is a lovely place but rather over run with tourists. The caravan parks tend to generate crowds but the football probably drew... More

Visited on a sunny late June day, there were half a dozen people eating in the inside bar/lounge with only two others eating on the large outside patio directly overlooking the beach. You had to ring at the bar for service but a young guy promptly came and took our order. Sat out on the patio in the warm sunshine... More
