Myself and my partner had a great stay at the Augustus.. Comfy bed nice toiletries and attic room was lovely... Everything very clean and in great condition... Location is perfect for town and beach... Didn't realise at time of booking that breakfast is no longer served... We were quite looking forward to it, nevertheless there are plenty of cafes and... We booked last minute and the attic room was all that was available. Very clean, room was spacious two double beds, we were more than pleased. we saw another room which was obviously more preferable as it was not available was very spacious and had a lovely bay window. Tea, coffee, biscuits, wine glasses, bottle opener plus flannel, toiletries in... More

When we asked about breakfast we were told that breakfast is not provided for July and August but we were not told about this whilst booking. Very misleading as the website even has a breakfast menu. Wouldn't go back there.

Rooms were really clean and tidy. Tea, coffee & biscuits provided. I like how you can come and go. However, they no longer do breakfast and need to remove this from their website. It was a bit misleading, as it's called a bed and breakfast, and lessens the chance we will stay there again.

Paid £300 for 5 nights. I came to the door to be greeted by a severely hungover hostess. Was Told I had to wait for my room. Waited 3 hours and then told "breakfast isn't happening this week". never saw the hostess, tv was not working so went all week without tv. I wanted pillows and could not get them... More

Myself and my youngest child(6) stay for one night at almost full asking price of the room £50 p/n (£60 is full) for the twin single room. In the morning we left disappointed to hear that the hotel was not a B&B but just bed only, although the hotel website states B&B and even has a breakfast menu? I was... More

I got here later on Wednesday when seeing customers down in Pembrokeshire and it was a clean, nicely furnished and good value place to stay. The heating was down and it was room only with a few upgrades going on but it was February and this is the time that a B&B has to do this. The lady was very... More

Well I had a good reveiew about this place but I was very disappointed with my visit! The whole point of having bed and breakfast is to have 'bed and breakfast'! But no we only had bed and we had to pay the full price! Well as you can imagine it was shocking! I wouldn't recommend this 'bed' to anyone... More

I rang trying to book accommodation and the lady that picked up was very rude, I realise that it is a busy time but I would never speak to a possible customer like that. Won't be staying here. Just simple things like being polite make a huge difference.
