Property set back from the main road by a large driveway makes this a lovely picturesque quiet setting, not been a walker I would say you need a car during your stay ( legs are for driving!) Warm welcome each and every time we returned from trips out, the owners Rolly and Pauline were a wealth of knowledge about local... More

Just spent a loverly night at Hillgarth House with my husband, daughter and two of her friends. The girls had a great triple room and we had the Delux Double which was very spacious and had a fab bathroom with a waterfall shower. King Size Waterbed was different!!! Not sure if I'll be buying one soon, it was very comfortable... More

Just returned from a delightful trip to Pembrokeshire. Hillgarth House is a great location with the beautiful Manorbier beach just a mile away. Well positioned for walkers but, if not, the local buses to Tenby/Pembroke stop at the bottom of the drive. Roly and Pauline were extremely helpful/ knowledgeable and made us feel very welcomed. The room was spotless and... More

Positives - fantastic bathroom with monsoon shower, lovely views, near the sea, nice hosts. Negatives - Whole property smelt a bit of old, cooked vegetables, flies buzzing around breakfast room and fruit laid out for breakfast, decor a little dated.

Stayed in the deluxe room, very comfortable, spacious, has everything you need. Very clean place. Good walk in shower-spacious and very powerful-nice after a day of walking around the cliffs. Great location, very close to Tenby but also just up the road from a Manorbier village centre - shop and pub. Very friendly hosts, approachable and knowledgeable. Breakfast tasty, fresh,... More

A last minute booking, that was a real treat. Mr & Mrs Butler were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Their spacious home was ideally laid out to provided a comfortable environment for a B&B. Spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water, luxurious towels and a fresh bed enabled us to enjoy a relaxing evening. The quiet setting and comfortable... More

We stayed at Hillgarth House for two nights last week and were most impressed with the cheerful, friendly reception we had from Roley and Pauline. Our twin room was comfortable and clean with a good view. The breakfast each morning was really wonderful, plentiful and beautifully cooked! We are happy to recommend this B&B to anybody holidaying in the area.

My wife and i stayed for a long weekend mixing business with pleasure. We were made to feel very much at home; nothing was too much trouble. We had the small but very comfortable twin room at the back. The bathroom arrangements were fine - not specifically en suite but with the curtain screening off that end of the landing... More
