From the warm & friendly welcome, (supplied with lovely Welsh Cakes, shortbread & Bara Brith and tea in the garden !), to the superbly appointed accommodation (Room 1, "Raphael"), we were treated like royalty by the hosts Pippa & Philip. They both strive to maintain the highest standards - Pippa is an absolute mine of information on the local area,... More

We stayed with Phil & Pippa just after I had a back problem & had a lovely downstairs room. From the minute we arrived it was wonderful. Refreshments in the gardens with incredible views. Unlimited advice on Tenby & beyond. Phils fabulous homemade bread each morning. It was incredible. They lead the way & go beyond the expected. We went... More

As we chose to stay at St Lawrence because the Tripadvisor comments were so positive it's a pleasure to confirm that the glowing reports posted by previous guests are truly deserved. All requirements were more than catered for and Pippa and Phil were the ideal hosts. Our first visit to the west of Wales and after the reception we received... More

A lovely place to stay. Beautiful views from the garden and breakfast room of the coast and Caldey Island. Quiet setting with the breakfasts more than enough for anyone. Rooms were well appointed and very clean and comfortable. However what made this venue stand out was the hospitality of Phil and Pippa who could not do enough for their guests... More

We were given a very warm welcome with tea on the lawn, bara brith, Welsh cakes and shortbread, a wonderful start to our short break. The room was a very good size with easy chairs, a fridge, separate loo and bathroom with separate shower cubicle. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfasts each day and the hospitality from Pippa and Phil. We would... More

St Lawrence Guest House stands in its own grounds with terrific views out to the coast and Caldey Island in the distance. The grounds are well worth exploring and the variety of wildlife is stunning. From lovely butterflies to woodpeckers to hares, this place captivated us in its diversity. Then there's the quality of the accommodation. Our room was superb;... More

Stayed here for 3 nights whist touring south Wales with friends & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Phil & Pippa gave us a lovely welcome with afternoon tea in their beautiful garden -home-made bara brith, Welsh scones & vanilla shortbread. Our rooms were spotless, spacious & well-appointed. Breakfasts were amazing -cooked by Phil & explained in great detail by Pippa. All home-made... More

I couldn't stay for the time booked because of a family emergency, but the situation of the hotel is wonderful, everything you could want. The building itself is lovely and characterful, and most important the owners are great.
