The hotel was clean and welcoming and the breakfast delicious. We found all the facilities in perfect working order. Julienne was attentive. The hotel was very easy to find as it is on the road into Ilfracombe from Barnstaple. In spite of this we heard very little noise from the traffic below our room and our stay was relaxing.

A good quality TV and a DVD player with a large choice of films downstairs in the hallway. This review somewhat belated 2012/2013 . Loved this quaint friendly B&B in Ilfracombe. Stayed here 4 nights after the long haul from Adelaide arriving Boxing Day to attend Wedding In Woolacoombe. Julienne kindly sent us prior to check in all the local restaurants/menus and arranged bookings for us, as it was Boxing Day most places either closed, busy and fully...

We were two couples on a short break. Spacious rooms (1 & 5), comfortable beds and helpful, friendly hostess. Julienne's fruit compote and home made marmalade were delicious and, although we never saw Peter, I think he was responsible for the tasty cooked breakfasts.

Stayed here for one night, during a weekend getaway. The room was lovely and spacious, nothing was too much trouble for Julienne. The breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day! Great value for exploring North Devon from.
