Visited here 19-22 Aug and stayed in the Saunton lodge . It was really well equipped inside plenty big enough for myself , husband and three year old son. The lodges are in the perfect location with lovely views of rolling hills and the odd cow . Ideally situated between ilfracombe and Combe Martin. I would definitely return and would... More

What a lovely holiday we had, with our base being at Grattons Cedar Lodges for a week. It was certainly helped by the sunshine we had throughout most of the week. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who showed us the DVDs, games, BBQs and many other items which were free to borrow during the course of... More

Hi, many thanks for your great feedback. You are quite right to ignore satnav's, much better to stick to main roads unless used to driving along single track narrow roads. We will be replacing the sofa at the end of the season, it's one of the last ones of that type we need to replace. We hope to welcome you... More

Stayed for a week in July, warm welcome, lovely lodges, with all mod cons ( wifi for the kids), free use of bbqs, beach equipment, dvds and board games, at this friendly family run small Park with breath taking views. local pub ( the sawmills) is about 20 mins walk away, and 25 mins back some serious hills, not for... Good location to Ilfracombe access is via lanes but not too difficult, if you need a quite location with great views of the local area and village. A very good warm welcome as owners are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much of a problem, price reflects facilities as there is no bar or onsite entertainment which is great... More

Hi there, thanks so much. I agree with everything you write. We do not provide facilities like a bar or entertainment like holiday parks and do not intend to at all. You are quite right that parking is tight when fully booked. Congestion can be caused if a guest brings more than one car (not you I appreciate) which we... More

My partner and I found this amazing place on the Hoseasons website. We stayed in the Exmoor lodge which was so lovely and comfortable. The owners were great, very welcoming. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all. Beautiful setting in a beautiful part of the world. 10/10

Myself, my parents, my brother and our dog stayed here last week for 3 nights. We arrived about 3pm, so earlier than the check in time stated but that was no issue as the owners explained the set up of the lodges and showed us to the field to walk our dog - as they had to clear up our... More

Hello, thanks so much for your informative feedback. Those birds, heck, that's never happened before, I was trying to present a calm impression but getting them out wasn't easy!! Glad you liked the area, having 2 pubs within walking distance is a positive, and we do agree that the atmosphere on our quiet site is friendly and welcoming. Even if... More

Just spent 4 nights in one of the lodges at grattons and don't have a bad point to make about it. The owners are extremely kind and helpful and very welcoming. The site is extremely quiet and peaceful and the area has stunning views. The lodge was cosy and clean and had everything you could need for a short break.... More

If you want a quiet place to stay Grattons Cedar Lodges are perfect. The lodges are of a good standard. Our lodge although basic was clean and well maintained.
