Stayed here for four nights. The outside of the hotel looks old and tired and could do with a make over but inside it was very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. Our room was quite nice but on a slight slope. The breakfast was fine but I usually have fruit and yogourt but there wasn't any... More

Found the Bath House Hotel a bit run down but no worse than many of the Ilfracombe hotels. Our room was lovely - very clean, high ceilings, tea and coffee and plenty of it and a proper size kettle. En suite also clean with piping hot water all the time. Room furniture was generous and good quality. Old sash windows... More

We booked for three nights and had room 107 - the suite. This was very spacious with a separate bedroom and a good sized lounge area which had a comfortable arm chair and a settee. There was a large TV in the lounge and a smaller one on the bedroom wall with good pictures on both. The bathroom contained a... More

We booked this hotel for 3 nights. Very clean hotel inside - carpets throughout the hotel appear to be fairly new. The hotel has a lift which is a huge bonus as we had my mother-in-law with us. The staff are extremely polite and very helpful - we needed milk heated up for baby morning and evening for example and... More

Good value for money. friendly staff, good location, parking could be tricky at peak times although we did get lucky. We had the suite as it was our honeymoon which was a nice touch from the owners as no extra charge. Would suit more mature visitors.

Decided to stay here by myself whilst on a hen do in the area. Booked a single room and thought it was ideal as it was situated in town near amenities. Not used to travelling alone, so felt a little vulnerable. Upon entering the hotel, I could not find where to check in. There was no designated reception area and... More

This is a nice hotel on the inside and the staff were very welcoming, there is limited parking but they fitted us all in (there was a group of us). The room was big and clean with good facilities. The only down point was a lack of double glazing and the noisy seagulls that woke us early both mornings. Sure... More

When we arrived at the hotel I thought 'oh no', the outside is dirty and needs some TLC. However, when you walk through the front door everything changes, white tiles, little bar, seating area and a very friendly and very well spoken receptionist called Malcolm. The room wasn't great and the carpet was a bit dirty but it served it's... More

Pulled up outside and thought what have we done. Dirty cobwebbed windows, cigarette butts outside main door but as it was for only 1 night and on a good priced deal. Inside was tiled and clean. Given a warm welcome and shown to our room on the third floor. If you can, use the stairs as the lift is frightening. A... More
