our room(No.22) was very unclean with thick layers of dust on the surfaces and the bathroom was unacceptable, hot water came out of the cold water tap and the shower was in need of urgent plumbing. Everywhere around the hotel needed refurbishing and the food was very plain. The furniture was also very out dated.

Thank you for your review, unfortunately we're not able to say the same to its content! We were only made aware of your concerns regarding the room on the Monday by the coach company you came here with (you arrived on the Saturday). They had received an email from you which they responded to on the Monday morning. We would... More

We went for a wedding in Ilfracombe and stayed at the Osborne, food was wonderful, staff very friendly ,room was clean and plenty of towels. The hotel could do with some TLC but the frienship of the people made up for it.The room we had was facing the back but my daughter was in a seaview room and that was larger.

We have just had our wedding in the Osborne hotel and I have never met a bunch of nicer, family orientated, kind people. From the hotel manager to the bar manager to the waiting staff and to the house keeper they all put themselves out to help us have the best day of our lives. They are so professional and... More

The welcome, service and food could not be faulted. Though our room was not one that had been refurbished, it was spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. However, the public areas do need some TLC and, with the lift only going to the 3rd floor, access beyond here is only by the stairs which total around 20 to the... More

Went here in June 2016 with National Holidays coach trip. It is a family run hotel, dog friendly so bear that in mind if you are allergic to dogs, although I usually am but because the place is clean I didn't have a problem. We had room 57 and had trouble with the shower but there is a knack to... More

Spent the long bank holiday weekend here. This review is in multiple sections. Hotel: this is a traditional Victorian type hotel, so has its own grading how level the floors are, and how quietly you can negotiate the corridors 😄. However, the decor is in generally good condition as is the building itself. The only real downside is the tiny... More

Have just returned from a 5 day midweek break at this hotel. Difficult to find fault. The hotel is family run and everyone is very friendly, always having time to stop and have a chat. The food was excellent. quality, quantity and presentation, and the table service second to none. The room and linen was spotless and the room serviced... More
